Chapter 36 - Chapter 35: The Soul’s Descent

Alysia's tears were silent, but they fell freely as Aragos took her hand. The weight of the past, the memories lost, the unknown path ahead—it all felt too much.

"Come on," Aragos said, his voice firm yet gentle. "We need to keep moving. There's no time to waste."

But Alysia didn't move. "What if we're too late?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"We're not," Aragos said, squeezing her hand. "We won't be."

He helped her to her feet, and together, they began walking deeper into the cavern, the eerie green glow casting long shadows on the walls.

As they moved forward, Alysia couldn't shake the feeling that the cavern itself was alive—watching, judging, waiting.

They reached a massive door at the far end, its surface covered in intricate symbols. Alysia could feel the power emanating from it.

"What is this?" she asked, running her fingers over the carvings.

"This is where the trial ends," Aragos said, his voice low. "We must be ready."
