"Liam Harrison?"
"That playboy from the Harrison family?" Grace thought for a moment. "I've seen him a few times, not familiar, but I've heard people talk about him. They say he's notorious for having a lot of money but squandering it recklessly, frequently making bad investments. A while ago, he teamed up with Ethan Thompson, the son of the Thompson family. They engaged in a software company. They don't even understand these things, it's just like a joke."
Isabella chuckled, "He provides the funds, others do the work. Besides, how do you know he doesn't understand?"
Grace laughed, "He's always idling away, wanting to squander the family fortune. How could he possibly understand these things?"
Isabella glanced at Alexander, who had been reading quietly.
This Liam had a particularly good relationship with Mr. Alexander. How could someone chosen by Alexander be an ignorant playboy? Moreover, Isabella remembered that none of the projects and companies Liam invested in had suffered losses.
Isabella didn't say much, "Anyway, he's wealthy, and we need someone with money, right?"
Grace nodded, "Okay, I remember a friend who knows him better. I'll get the phone number later."
"As for the leading actress, Olivia Reynolds, do you know her?" Isabella asked Grace.
Grace thought for a while, "Who? Olivia Reynolds? Who's that?"
That's the future rival of Sophia!
Isabella thought to herself. Olivia was supposedly Sophia's classmate, and the two seemed to have a rivalry. In the previous life, because of Sophia, Isabella knew a bit about Olivia. There was no dirt on her, and people in the industry spoke highly of her. Although Sophia had the support of the Bennett family, she still suffered losses under Olivia, indicating that Olivia had some capabilities.
Olivia probably hasn't signed with a company yet?
"Gracie, do you think Liam would be interested in starting an entertainment company?" Isabella suddenly asked.
"Huh?" Grace felt like she couldn't keep up with Isabella's train of thought. How did they change to discussing the idea of starting an entertainment company?
Isabella thought this idea had potential. The entertainment company under Bennett was now top-notch in the industry. She wanted to publicize the things that Daniel and Sophia had done and make them famous. But then neither the Bennett's nor the Rosentha's would leave her alone.
She wanted revenge, but she also had to protect herself. If she had companies in her hands that could go toe-to-toe with Bennett's entertainment companies, and a few more actresses who were more powerful than Sophia, then Sophia was afraid that her days would be numbered.
Although it seemed a bit pie in the sky right now, she had been reborn, and not aiming for something big seemed unsatisfactory.
Isabella, a decisive person, decided to do it. "Let's go, let's plan this, and by the way, drop me off at home. I need to get some things."
"Plan what?" Grace, in a dazed state, followed Isabella out of the study.
They left Alexander alone in the study.
Throughout, neither of them avoided Alexander. Perhaps they thought he couldn't understand, or maybe it just wasn't necessary?
Alexander watched their retreating figures, closed his book, thought for a moment, took out his phone, and called Liam. "Hello, it's me."
"Oh! Newlyweds, what made you think of me?" Liam said sarcastically.
"Do something for me," Alexander said casually.
"And now you remember me?" Liam snorted. "I called you so many times last night, sent so many messages, and you didn't reply to a single one! Not helping!"
Alexander leaned back in his wheelchair, "I'm getting married for once in my life. You disturbed my wedding night, and you still think you have a point?"
"You must be kidding! Forget the wedding night, did you even let the bride sleep on the bed?" Liam laughed.
Alexander remained silent.
Seeing he wasn't cooperating, Liam laughed, "You said you'd create a disturbance and ruin the wedding, but now you've actually brought her home. What's your plan?"
Alexander recalled Isabella massaging him last night and the noodles he had just had. "Having a wife at home isn't a bad idea."
"What?" Liam felt like he was hearing things.
Alexander didn't say more but continued, "Release the information about what Daniel and Sophia did."
"No, what do you mean? What's 'having a wife'? Are you serious?" Liam's fussing made Alexander want to hang up on the call. Just as he was about to, he reconsidered and brought the phone back to his ear. "Liam, do you want to open an entertainment company?"
"What?"
Alexander feels that since he's decided to stay married to her, it's not unnecessary to protect her.
