Heavy breathing entered the halls, the once beautiful decorated walls destroyed by impact of hard hits. A stagnant smell of blood, dust, and musky sweat entered the nose.
"You... damned... hero..."
A dry husky voice cursed out. A man of once great beauty, beaten to pulp with black blood oozing out rapidly.
"Heh, should've.... stayed down the... first time.. Malgorth..."
An unnervingly deep calm voice called out.
I shot up from my bed, breathing heavily, panic settled down as I held my chest. 'The death... of Malgorth.. before I even came back. Why are these resurfacing? Why do I feel uneasy?'
I got up and stood in front of the mirror. My ashburn hair being a mess, the once blue eyes turned gray with a golden hue after the 'dream', a semi built body that also transferred over. Overall, I am quite average.
The look before was more muscular but not overbearing. 'Scarlett mentioned it sounded like a dilf body.... I shouldn't have looked that up...'
I grimaced at the thought, getting ready in comfortable clothes. Heading to the kitchen, I made a small breakfast. My parents are hardly ever home, always working day and night. I have no siblings because they only had me to make their parents satisfied.
I finished my food and immediately headed out to catch the bus.
I looked out of the window, still thinking about everything that had transpired. 'Spending 20 years in an unknown world, only to come back and it had been 20 minutes. Time dilation seems to only matter depending on the person most likely.'
'Since it's been almost 4 years, wouldn't that mean it's been almost 4 hundred years there?'
I grimace lightly, before getting off at my stop. Trinity Sanctum Institute, the top academy in the country, only way in is scholarship or being a part of a famous family. I did the former with Scar, scholarship. Sure my parents are well off, but not to the extent of TSI's list of accommodations.
Looking up at the gate and wall that surrounded the place. 'There is a dormitory system but that's only for the famous families section. It'd be pure luck for a scholarship student to get in there.'
Sighing, I headed in with my ID for the security guards to look at.
"Hey Alex!" Scarlett's voice called out as she approached me from inside.
"Hey Scar, anything new pop up?" i asked, she always manages to get some sort of information on things going on.
"Nope, the usual. Been like that for the last 5 weeks, normally there would be some sort of rumor going on." She sighed deeply.
"What about Noah Maxwell and his fiancé, Camilla Watson?" I asked.
"Them? Ah. I did hear they're families are having a fall out, that's to be expected. The Watson Family has dropped from Rank 3 to Rank 17 in just the last few years. The Maxwell's are still at the top as usual, Rank 1 across the country, Rank 3 world wide."
Scarlett explained as we walked to class.
"Who is ranked 1 worldwide?" my curiosity got the better of me, normally i wouldn't care as much.
"The Aleksandrova family from Russia, I heard they're son is attending our class." Scarlett mentions.
"I didn't know Artem was from such a well known family."
"Makes sense, whenever you speak to him its as if he seems normal." Scarlett giggled slightly.
"Alexander," A deep accented voice called out, making me look back, "Did you just arrive?"
Artem Aleksandrova, despite being of the same age, he already looks like an adult. Having platinum blonde hair past his shoulders, relentless blue eyes that carry a storm within, snow white skin and the perfect model body. He has the hearts of many people, of all ages and genders.
"Yeah, I did. Need something?" 'I feel like I keep asking more than actually speaking..'
"Nothing much, Hello Scarlett." He gives a nod to the woman beside me.
"Heya Artem." She greeted him back.
"We're just heading to the class, wanna come along?" I asked, spontaneously.
He just nodded slightly, walking on my other side, Scarlett casually speaking about what happened yesterday. More of what she heard about between a teacher and student.
We sat down at our desks, Artem was surprisingly right next to me on my right, since I sat at the window area.
I felt uneasy as the rest of the classmates entered. "Hey, Scar, Art. Don't you feel like something bad is about to happen?"
"Huh? No, not at all." Scar responded as Artem shook his head.
Just as the Teacher walked in, a bright light glowed beneath me. "Why does this feel strangely familiar…?"
A familiar circle appeared below us, taking the entire room within its grasp.
"Shit." Was all i could say as the light shined far too bright making me close my eyes. 'Déjà vu much?!' I thought, being swallowed up.
