Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Endless White Space

As the day progresses, the city comes alive with a symphony of sounds. The honking of cars, the chatter of pedestrians, and the distant hum of the subway create a vibrant atmosphere. Against the backdrop of a clear blue sky, towering skyscrapers reflect the hustle and bustle below through their glass windows.

But as I drifted off to sleep, the sounds of the city began to fade, replaced by the distant call of a bird, and the rustling of leaves in the wind. In a different setting, as night falls on a lonely road surrounded by a dense jungle, a young boy runs with all his might. His handsome face turns pale, as if he has encountered something dangerous.

I abruptly opened my eyes, jolting awake from my bed. A chilling sensation coursed through my entire body, leaving me bewildered.

"What on earth was that bizarre dream?"

I muttered, frustration evident in my voice.

Lately, I had been experiencing a series of peculiar dreams, leaving me utterly perplexed.

I had been trying to brush them off as mere fantasies, but the frequency and intensity of these dreams had been increasing, making it difficult for me to ignore them.

To make matters worse, I had started to have glimpses of visions, but they were incomprehensible and fleeting.

I vaguely recalled seeing something, but the details eluded me.

Glancing at the clock, I noticed it was 12:01 am. As I prepared to rise from my bed, an unexpected force suddenly surrounded me, as if I were being pulled into a minuscule black hole.

The next thing I knew, I was standing in a vast, empty space. The air was thick with an eerie silence, and I couldn't see anything except for the endless white expanse stretching out before me. I spun around, trying to get my bearings, but there was no sign of walls, no horizon, no nothing. It was as if I had been dropped into a void. Panic set in as I realized I was completely disoriented. I took a few tentative steps forward, but my feet seemed to be walking on air. I stumbled, my heart racing, and fell to my knees.

As I sat there, trying to calm myself down, I realized that I had been waiting for what felt like an eternity - 10, 15 minutes, maybe more. But time seemed to have lost all meaning in this desolate space. I knew I had to keep moving, to try and find a way out. So, I took a deep breath, stood up, and started walking in one direction. The silence was oppressive, and I felt like I was walking through a nightmare. But I kept going, my feet carrying me forward on autopilot.

As I walked, my mind began to clear, and I started to think more rationally. I didn't know where I was or how I got there, but I knew I had to keep moving. The thought of being trapped in this endless white space was too terrifying to contemplate. So, I kept walking, my eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of hope.

And then, after what felt like an eternity, I saw it - a faint light in the distance. It was a small, flickering flame, but it was enough to give me hope. I started walking towards it, my heart pounding in my chest. As I got closer, I saw that it was a small fire, burning in a makeshift hearth. I stumbled towards it, my legs trembling with exhaustion.

As I reached the fire, I collapsed to the ground, my body wracked with sobs. I didn't know where I was or how I got there, but I knew I had found a small oasis in this desolate space. And as I gazed into the flames, I knew that I would find a way out of this place, no matter what it took.

I sat by the fire for a while, trying to gather my strength. But as I looked around, I realized that the distance between me and the horizon seemed to be static. I was walking towards the horizon, but it didn't seem to be getting any closer. I tried to run, but my legs felt like lead, and the horizon seemed to be stuck in place. I was running, but I wasn't moving. I was trapped in some kind of bizarre time loop.

I ran for what felt like hours, but the horizon remained stubbornly out of reach. I was exhausted, my lungs burning, my legs trembling. I stumbled and fell, my body wracked with fatigue. I lay there, my eyes closed, my chest heaving. I felt like I was going to pass out.

But I knew I couldn't sleep. Not here. Not in this desolate space. I slapped my face, trying to shake off the fatigue. I sat up, my legs crossed, my eyes closed. I remembered a meditation technique I had

learned, though I couldn't recall who had taught it to me. It was a powerful technique, one that had helped me in times of great stress and fatigue. I focused my mind, quieting my thoughts and calming my breath. As I sat there, my eyes closed, I felt my energy begin to return. The fatigue that had threatened to overwhelm me began to recede, replaced by a sense of clarity and purpose.

I sat for what felt like 5 to 7 minutes, my mind focused on the present moment. The silence around me was oppressive, but I felt a sense of peace wash over me. When I finally opened my eyes, I felt refreshed, rejuvenated. The fire in front of me seemed to be burning brighter, the flames dancing in the air.

But as I looked around, I realized that the atmosphere had changed. The air seemed to be charged with an electric energy, and I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end. The silence was no longer oppressive, but rather, it seemed to be alive, pulsing with an otherworldly power. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that I was not alone in this desolate space.

I stood up, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew that I had to keep moving, to find a way out of this place. But as I looked around, I realized that the horizon was still out of reach. I was trapped in this endless white space, with no escape in sight.

What's going on? I thought to myself. What kind of place is this?

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what lay ahead. I knew that I had to keep moving, to find a way out of this desolate space. But as I looked around, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched, that unseen eyes were upon me.

As I stood there, trying to make sense of my surroundings, a sudden gust of energy forced me back. I stumbled, my eyes fixed on the horizon, and that's when I saw it - a tall, 8-foot figure emerging from the distance. The air around it seemed to ripple and distort, as if the very fabric of reality was bending to accommodate its presence.

As the figure drew closer, I saw that it was surrounded by an aura of intense, pulsating light. The flames from the fire I had stumbled upon earlier seemed to be drawn to it, dancing around its form like moths to a flame. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sight, but it wasn't fear that I felt. Instead, I felt a strange sense of familiarity, as if I had seen this figure before.

The figure drew closer, its eyes fixed on me, and I saw that it was not touching the ground. It was as if it was walking on air, its long strides eating up the distance between us. I stood frozen, my heart pounding in my chest, as the figure came to a stop in front of me.

I was not afraid, but my tears were flowing freely, streaming down my face like rain. I didn't know why I was crying, but I couldn't help it. The figure loomed over me, its eyes burning with an intense, spiritual energy. I felt like a statue, frozen in place, as I gazed up at it.

Who was this figure? What was it doing here? And why did I feel such a deep sense of connection to it?
