At Sawyer mansion,
Nikki arrives home only to be summoned by her mother to the forbidden room.
In the forbidden room,
Nikki walks into the room to find her mother seated on her throne with Alison and Amber standing before her. She walks towards them and stands beside Amber.
"Greetings my queen", she greeted with a slight bow.
"Where have you been?' Amber whispered.
"Welcome Princess Nikki. I'd like to know where you've been", Sabrina requested.
"I went to the venue of the event on Saturday. I wanted to see if anything there could help me jog my memory", she explained.
"Very well. I see you're taking your position quite seriously".
"I'm glad you are pleased my queen", Nikki expressed.
"I summoned you all for an important reason today. The demon council came together yesterday, and a shocking discovery has been made".
"Did anything bad happen my queen?" Amber inquired.
"After what happened on Saturday there was an overwhelming outburst of a powerful presence all over the world. Every single kind felt that overwhelming power and because of that, the demon council has ordered a search for this power. If the one behind this power is not a demon, the person will be killed. But if it's a demon, the treatment will be based on their gender", Sabrina replied.
"What do you mean by treatment will be based on their gender?" Nikki questioned.
"If it is a male, he gets to join Prince Asriel as the right hand of the crowned Prince?"
"And if it's a female?"
"She automatically becomes the fiancee of the crowned Prince", Sabrina replied.
"What happens to Princess Lyra then?" Alison inquired.
"Another marriage will be arranged for her with a Prince from the upper chamber".
"I'm pretty sure she must be praying for the person to be a guy".
"That's not the important issue here. The problem is that the person is a girl", Sabrina disclosed.
"I thought you said it was yet to be determined what gender the person is. It's not even been concluded whether the person is a demon or not", Alison remarked.
"Yeah, how do you know it's a girl?" Nikki inquired.
"Is the person a demon or not?" Amber questioned.
"She's a demon and it will not be a good thing if she's found", Sabrina replied.
"What do you mean by that mother? With this power, we can finally be able to get rid of our enemies once and for all".
"Nikki there's something I need to tell you", Sabrina said with a serious expression.
"Is something the matter mother?" Nikki asked worried by the expression on her mother's face.
"Something happened on Saturday at Laurel's birthday party and after you came back, I had Rose replace your memories because of what happened", Sabrina confessed.
"You replaced my memories?"
"Amber, you and Alison explain to Nikki what happened on Saturday", Sabrina instructed.
"Do you remember going with Alan to the party?" Amber asked.
"Yes", Nikki replied.
"We got to Laurel's party and after that I left you to go find Dave. Laurel came to meet you a while after I left, and Alan saved you from whatever she was planning. She got upset because of the relationship you pretended to have with Alan and made you remove the cloaking spell you were using. After that, the upper ranked demons got upset with you coming to the party. Laurel later caused a scene with Lyra bullying you in front of the others. Alan rushed in to protect you, but the demons did not spare him. You got upset and released this crazy amount of power that was going to kill them if the crowned prince had not intervened", Amber explained.
"What do you mean by I unleashed a crazy amount of power capable of killing upper ranked demon royals?" Nikki questioned.
"You unlocked your powers on Saturday Nikki", Amber replied.
"And that's not all. You were able to summon Keruvim in its serpent form and you made it obey you", Alison added.
"I summoned Keruvim?" Nikki asked, her voice filled with unbelief.
"Yes, you did, and you also nearly killed mom and I with your power", Alison said.
"Does this mean I can finally use my powers?" Nikki inquired.
"You can't", Amber replied.
"Why? I have been training endlessly for it and I can't use it after I finally get it. That's not fair".
"Nikki, you fainted after using your power to heal me. Ryder came in and he discovered that you have a seal on you. That's what has been stopping you from using your powers. You temporarily broke the seal on Saturday but it's still there. Until you break it permanently you can't use your powers, or you'll die", Amber explained.
"I can't use them?"
"I'm really sorry Nikki".
"I need to find a way to break the seal", Nikki said.
"You are not breaking the seal on your powers", Sabrina declared.
"Why?" Nikki inquired.
"You are the demon they're looking for Nikki. You are the one who caused the power outburst in all the realms", Sabrina replied.
"What?!" they all chorused shocked by what they just heard.
"I don't understand. How are you sure I am the one?"
"You unleashed the same power when you were younger", her mother replied.
"That doesn't determine that I am the one", Nikki defended.
"Then explain to me how a power that is exactly like yours down to the aura shows up the same day you temporarily broke the seal on your powers, and it hasn't shown itself again".
"It's way too many facts to be called a coincidence Nikki", Amber stated.
"Until we find a way out of this, I forbid you from using your powers or even breaking the seal on them", Sabrina declared.
"This is unfair mother".
"I'm doing this to protect you, Nikki. You have no idea what they'll do to you if they find out you're the one especially with your dormant status", Sabrina said.
"Mother is there something else you're not telling me?" Nikki asked.
"There are somethings you are better off not knowing. Right now, I just need you to trust me, and do as I tell you".
"Okay mother", Nikki agreed.
"Princess Aria's birthday is this week. All members of important families from each chamber are ordered to attend. The crowned prince will be present to announce the search. We'll be attending and Alison's father will be accompanying us. I want you to stay out of trouble Nikki. The upper ranks will do everything in their power to get on your nerves, but I want you to keep calm and don't give in okay".
"I will do my best to stay in control", she assured.
"Good. That will be all for today. I will give you the information for the party another time", Sabrina said.
"Yes, my Queen", they all chorused.
