Chapter 122 - Finale

Seven days passed in the blink of an eye.

On this particular day, the engagement ceremony for Qin Tiance and Song Ruoyan was being held at the Immortal Martial Academy's massive square in the imperial capital. The venue was beautifully decorated, packed with the most prominent figures of the Xia Dynasty, all gathered to witness the event.

Qin Tiance, clad in an opulent black suit, stood beside Song Ruoyan, who wore a stunning red dress. The two looked every bit the part of a perfect, celestial couple. As they walked arm-in-arm, murmurs of admiration filled the crowd.

Leaning close to Song Ruoyan's ear, Qin Tiance whispered, "It's a shame that worthless Horn isn't here today. If I get the chance, I'll send him straight to Hell myself."

But before he could continue, a voice as cold as the winter wind cut through the crowd: "Qin Tiance, you won't have to wait for the future. Your grandfather and I are here to attend your funeral today."

Heads turned as Horn emerged from the crowd, flanked by Lin Zixuan, Tang Yuxin, Jiang Wan, and others. Despite the murmurs and the stares, Horn remained calm, walking slowly toward the couple.

Qin Tiance, momentarily stunned, quickly regained his composure and burst out laughing. "Did I hear that right? You came to my funeral?" His voice was filled with derision. "Do you really think you can kill me here in front of all these people?"

He gestured grandly. "I've reached the mid-stage of the Creation Realm, thanks to these infinite purple pupils. Do you really think you stand a chance?"

Song Ruoyan's voice dripped with scorn as she added, "Horn, you've always been nothing but a pathetic insect. You don't belong here. Why don't you just die already?"

She sneered, her eyes briefly flicking over to Lin Zixuan and the others. "Vice Presidents Lin and Jiang, really? You represent nothing more than an insignificant, unrecognized academy that dares to challenge giants like the Ye family. Your Changsheng Academy should have been wiped out already. Do you really think the world will believe Su Changsheng is your dean?"

Horn stepped forward calmly. "I am Su Changsheng, the very same you speak of."

His words fell over the crowd like a stone dropped into still water. The initial silence was soon followed by mocking laughter from every corner of the square.

Even Lin Zixuan and the others were visibly taken aback. Until now, they hadn't realized that Horn was the legendary Su Changsheng.

Qin Tiance's face twisted in rage. "You dare pretend to be Su Changsheng? You think you can fool everyone here? You're nothing but a joke!"

As his anger surged, the dean of the Immortal Martial Academy emerged from the crowd—a powerful figure in the early stage of the Tianyang Realm, a realm above the Tianyue Realm. By his side stood a middle-aged man missing several fingers, whose aura revealed he had reached the peak of the Tianyang Realm.

"I am from the Ye family of Kunlun Mountain," the man said coldly. "Ye Qingtian and Ye Binglan were my kin."

The six-fingered sword immortal, a legendary figure feared for his ruthless efficiency, had finally revealed his identity.

As their combined pressure bore down on Horn and his companions, the air around them became suffocating. But instead of being intimidated, Horn's calm demeanor remained unchanged. Slowly, an overwhelming aura began to radiate from him.

Lin Zixuan and the others, who had been bracing for their last stand, watched in awe as the sky above them tore apart and the ground beneath them quaked.

The pressure Horn unleashed was so immense that every powerful cultivator present—whether the six-fingered sword immortal, the dean, or even Qin Tiance—was forced to their knees.

Horn took a few steps forward, casually patting the six-fingered sword immortal on the head. In the blink of an eye, the man's head exploded like a melon.

The dean, convulsing in terror, met a similar fate as Horn merely glanced his way, leaving him to die on the spot.

Qin Tiance, watching this massacre unfold, finally understood who Horn truly was. Fear flooded his veins. "S-Senior Su, I was wrong. Please, I beg you—"

Before he could finish, Horn ripped out Qin Tiance's eyes with his bare hands.

"Ah!" Qin Tiance's scream was cut short as Horn waved his hand, and his body exploded into a mist of blood.

Song Ruoyan, trembling, tried to plead for mercy, claiming she had always loved Horn and had only been forced into her engagement with Qin Tiance.

Horn's response was cold and dismissive: "You think you're worthy of me?"

With a snap of his fingers, her face contorted, becoming grotesque and deformed, her cultivation destroyed, leaving her an ugly, powerless shell of her former self.

Horn turned to the stunned crowd. "I will wait here for three days. If anyone dares challenge me, I'll accept. But know this: every time I act, someone will die."

Three days passed, and every challenger met the same fate—death at Horn's hands.

Horn had ascended to become the undisputed number one on Earth. Afterward, he returned to Kunlun Mountain, freed his parents from their imprisonment, and, with them and his loved ones, left the mortal world to return to the Immortal Realm.
