Chapter 115 - Blood Rain

When Meng Kang witnessed his son's death, fury surged through his veins, contorting his face into a ghostly expression. His aura, at the peak of the Sky Moon Realm, exploded with intensity. Meng Kang had risen from humble beginnings, for his father, Mr. Meng, had once been a mere servant in the Meng family. Mr. Meng had followed Meng Yan out of loyalty, for Meng Yan's father had shown him great kindness.

Through sheer determination and luck, Meng Kang seized great opportunities, lifting both himself and his son, Meng Ze, out of their servitude. Together, they carved a place for themselves within the Meng family. But as Meng Kang descended from Kunlun Mountain this time, he never imagined that he would lose his son.

He always believed that as long as he was present, no one in this world would dare defy him. Yet, reality hit him like a merciless blow.

"Zombie, even if it costs me my life, I will stand by you!" Meng Kang roared, as Horn flicked his wrist, sending Meng Ze's lifeless body hurtling toward Meng Kang like a cannonball. The piercing sound of the impact echoed through the heavens.

Meng Kang couldn't abandon his son's body. He reached out, ready to catch it. But as it neared, his expression shifted in shock—the force was far more terrifying than he'd anticipated. Before he could even touch the body, the sheer momentum made him feel like his blood was about to burst from his veins.

It was too late to evade.

With a grim face, Meng Kang activated a strange technique, channeling his spiritual energy: "Red Gold Flaming Hand!"

His hands glowed gold, encircled by fiery red flames, distorting the air around them.

Mr. Jiang, in a hoarse whisper, remarked, "That's the true Rank Seven combat skill, the Red Gold Flame Hand! It's said that the flames can not only make the hands indestructible but also invade the enemy's body, burning them from the inside out."

But before Jiang could finish speaking, Meng Ze's body collided with Meng Kang's hands.

Everyone expected that, with his power at the peak of the Sky Moon Realm and the use of a Rank Seven skill, Meng Kang would easily catch his son's body. But reality left them wide-eyed in horror.

With a sickening "pfft," the force shattered Meng Kang's arms, turning them into a mist of blood. His body was flung several meters back, crashing to the ground. Blood sprayed from his ruined shoulders, and agonizing groans escaped his throat.

Unmoved, Horn descended slowly to the ground, ignoring the scene behind him. Mr. Jiang, numb with shock, muttered, "I won't even speculate on my grandson-in-law's true strength anymore. All I know is that he's far beyond the peak of the Sky Moon Realm."

Jiang Zhan nodded. "He feels like a bottomless pit. Every time I think I've grasped his power, I realize I've only seen the tip of the iceberg."

Jiang Wan's eyes sparkled, but a sense of self-doubt crept into her heart. Could she truly be worthy of such a man as Horn?

Meanwhile, Jiang Feng unabashedly cheered, "Brother-in-law is unstoppable!"

No one could challenge his brother-in-law now. Mr. Wei and Mr. Qiao exchanged relieved smiles, their worries finally put to rest.

Struggling to his feet, Meng Kang shouted, "You scum! Beating me means nothing! Do you even understand how powerful the Meng family is? We're not people you can trifle with!"

Xia Qingying stood at a distance, her face conflicted. She had thought that Horn would be easily defeated by Meng Kang, but the outcome left her reeling.

Horn had crushed Meng Kang with absolute dominance, and the sight unsettled her deeply.

Ignoring everyone, Horn turned his attention to the pit in the ground. "Old dog Su, aren't you ready to talk? Where were my parents taken?"

Su Wu, trembling under Horn's cold gaze, was filled with disbelief. How had Horn grown so powerful in just two years? It defied all logic.

Su Wu shook his head, muttering, "Impossible… how could a mere insect like you defeat someone at the peak of the Sky Moon Realm? This must be a dream—none of this can be real!"

Desperate, Su Wu finally broke. "Your parents were taken by several men in black. They were strong—I couldn't even move under their presence. I tried to investigate, but found nothing. I suspect they might be connected to your mother, but I couldn't learn her background."

Horn remained calm. "Is that all?" he asked, but the flash of panic in Su Wu's eyes betrayed him.

With a swift motion, Horn raised Su Wu into the air. He was no longer interested in dragging out the interrogation. Placing his hand on Su Wu's forehead, he searched his memories.

In moments, Horn pieced together the truth: Su Wu had intended to use Horn's mother as a cultivation furnace, planning to siphon her power for himself. But before he could enact his plan, the mysterious men in black had taken her away.

A cold light flickered in Horn's eyes. "Old dog Su, you truly deserve death."

Su Wu's face paled as Horn clenched his fist, throwing Su Wu into the air. With a gesture, Horn peeled Su Wu's skin from his body, exposing raw flesh for all to see. Su Wu screamed hoarsely, "Horn, I'm your grandfather by blood!"

Horn's voice was icy. "Are you worthy of such a title?"

With a swift motion, Horn clenched his fist, and Su Wu's body exploded into a shower of blood, painting the earth below like a gruesome rain.
