Chapter 97 - Mixed Doubles

Horn remained seated on the stone chair, his gaze indifferent as distant memories resurfaced.

He remembered how helpless he felt when Su Ming bullied him, the despair of being buried alive, and the pain of Su Ming repeatedly kicking his head. Horn took a deep breath, almost losing control and striking Su Ming dead on the spot. But he restrained himself; he wouldn't let Su Ming off so easily.

Jiang Feng, seeing Horn unmoved with that indifferent expression, unleashed the full force of his peak Sea Transformation Realm aura.

"Trash, are you deaf?" Jiang Feng snarled. "Didn't you hear Su Ming speaking to you? As his cousin, you should show him respect."

Coldness flashed in Jiang Feng's eyes as Horn calmly responded, "Are you done talking nonsense? I advise you not to meddle in others' affairs, or you'll be the one begging me for mercy later."

Jiang Feng burst into laughter. "You, an outcast of the Su family, think you can make me kneel? You must be dreaming! Do you know who I am? Jiang Wan is my cousin, and the head of the Jiang family is my uncle. In the Jiang family, everyone bows to me. You want me to kneel to you? Ridiculous!"

Su Ming's shoulders shook as his own Sea Transformation Realm aura erupted. "So, you've reached the early stages of the Sea Transformation Realm. I'm surprised. But do you really think that's enough to stand before me? I could crush you just as easily as before."

His eyes gleamed dangerously. "I'll say it one last time—kneel and greet me!"

Horn finally stood, his voice cold. "It's time to settle the score between us. By this time next year, you'll be dead."

Su Ming sneered at Horn's lack of aura. "Still clinging to those delusions, are you? You think you can defeat me with your early-stage Sea Transformation Realm cultivation? How ignorant."

His smile turned cruel. "Oh, by the way, I never told you that Song Ruoyan knew everything. She watched from a distance while we buried you alive. You were never in her league. Did you really think she would fall for someone like you? You're nothing but a toad."

Horn frowned. He hadn't known Song Ruoyan was present. That wretched woman—he'd wasted his feelings on her. Once Tianhai's matter was settled, he would go to the imperial capital, deal with Song Ruoyan, and retrieve his eyes from Qin Tiance.

Su Ming taunted, "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? Do you still have illusions about Song Ruoyan? A waste like you isn't worthy of her. If Su Wu hadn't spared you, I would have killed you myself."

With that, Su Ming stepped forward, causing the ground to crack beneath him. Gravel flew up as Jiang Feng intervened, saying, "Su Ming, this is the Jiang family, and you're a guest here. Let me handle this. I'll make him kneel and kowtow to you."

Su Ming stepped back, agreeing to Jiang Feng's proposal.

Jiang Feng continued, "You were brought here as a gift to the Su family. I really don't understand why you're so arrogant. Kneel and greet Su Ming!"

With that, Jiang Feng's peak Sea Transformation Realm aura surged as he charged at Horn, a confident smile on his face. Dealing with someone at the early stage of the Sea Transformation Realm should be easy.

But just as Horn prepared to strike, a fierce energy burst from the villa.

"Jiang Feng, do you have a death wish?" Jiang Wan, now dressed in a long black gown, emerged slowly from the villa. Her presence was imposing, her anger evident.

Jiang Feng was knocked back five meters by the force, landing heavily on the ground. Jiang Wan's figure was stunning, her dress accentuating her curves.

Hearing Jiang Feng and Su Ming insult Horn while she was upstairs had enraged her. She was genuinely fond of Horn; otherwise, she wouldn't have thrown herself into his arms back in Linzhou.

Su Ming, who had been enjoying the show, was suddenly puzzled. What was going on?

Jiang Feng, blood trickling from his mouth, looked up at his sister in disbelief. "Sister, what are you doing? Weren't you going to give this trash to the Su family as a gift?"

Jiang Wan's beautiful eyes were icy. Although she usually indulged her cousin, Jiang Feng, this time was different—this matter involved Horn, and she couldn't let it go.

"Jiang Feng, kneel down! If you don't get Brother Horn's forgiveness today, I'll expel you from the Jiang family."

Jiang Feng was stunned. He thought he'd misheard, but Jiang Wan's cold gaze confirmed it. "Sister, are you crazy? You're going to beat me and make me kneel to this outcast, even expel me from the family? Do you know what you're doing?"

Jiang Wan snorted. "It seems you don't understand human language."

With that, she appeared in front of Jiang Feng and slapped him without hesitation. Then came the second slap, the third, the fourth…

Jiang Feng, unable to resist, was left reeling as Jiang Wan finally stopped after a dozen slaps. His face was swollen beyond recognition, his mind spinning.

At that moment, Jiang Zhan and Mr. Jiang arrived in front of the villa. The driver quickly opened the car door for them.

Seeing them, Jiang Feng felt a surge of hope. "Grandpa, uncle, my sister has lost her mind! She's attacking me over an outcast from the Su family!"

Su Ming, too, was relieved at their arrival. Surely, these two would restore order.

Jiang Feng waited pitifully for his uncle and grandfather to take his side, but instead, Jiang Zhan kicked him over to Jiang Wan.

Father and daughter then started their own version of mixed doubles, kicking Jiang Feng back and forth like a ball.
