Chapter 88 - Just Kill Me

After hearing Lin Zixuan's words, Ye Binglan sneered, spitting out two mouthfuls of blood in the process.

"Lin Zixuan, have you lost your mind?" she mocked. "You actually want my brother to kowtow and apologize to the abandoned son of the Su family? My brother is the deputy minister of the Ministry of Talents and is likely to control the entire ministry in the future. And you want him to bow down to a nobody from the Su family? He's just a lost dog. You're the one who's crazy!"

Ye Qingtian shook his head, disappointment clear in his eyes. "Zixuan, I'm truly disappointed in you. For this piece of trash, you utter such absurdities. Is your confidence due to a hidden strongman from the Lin family? Do they dare to touch me? If you could make decisions in the Lin family, there wouldn't be a marriage contract between us."

He took a step forward, his voice cold and commanding. "I'm only going to say this once: take your foot off my sister. I'll count to three. If you don't comply, I won't just make that b*****d's head roll, but I'll also turn his body into a mist of blood."

"One!" Ye Qingtian began to count.

But before he could continue, a sudden explosion rang out. His right hand, aimed at Horn, burst into a cloud of blood mist.

"You don't need to count to three," Horn said calmly. "You talk too much. You keep calling me trash, but what does that make you?"

With a swift movement, Horn slapped Ye Qingtian hard across the face. The impact was so brutal that half of Ye Qingtian's face was torn apart, sending him spinning through the air before he crashed to the ground.

Ye Qingtian lay there, groaning, disbelief etched across his bloodied face. His right hand—his entire arm—was gone, obliterated by Horn. How could this have happened? He hadn't even seen Horn make a move. What kind of power did this abandoned son of the Su family possess?

Ye Binglan stood frozen, completely stunned. The brother she revered, a half-step powerhouse in the Heavenly Star Realm, had been overpowered by someone she had deemed unworthy. How could this be?

Horn approached Ye Qingtian, who tried to rise from the ground. But with a flick of Horn's fingers, two stones lifted from the earth and shot toward Ye Qingtian's knees with terrifying speed. Despite Ye Qingtian's attempt to shield himself, the stones penetrated his defenses and buried themselves in his knees, forcing him back to the ground.

"Did I ask you to stand up?" Horn's voice was calm, but his words were laced with an icy menace.

Ye Qingtian gritted his teeth, veins bulging on his forehead, his breath coming in rapid gasps. As a deputy minister of the Ministry of Talents, he had never faced such humiliation. And yet, a deeper fear gnawed at him. Horn's cultivation was beyond his own—a revelation that sent chills down his spine. A 21-year-old at the early stage of the Heavenly Star Realm? The very thought was terrifying.

Sweat poured from Ye Qingtian as he struggled to maintain his composure. "Horn, don't push your luck!" he warned, trying to suppress the fear rising within him.

After regaining her senses, Ye Binglan gasped in horror. She too realized that Horn was at least as powerful as an early-stage Heavenly Star Realm cultivator. It was now clear to her that Horn, not the Lin family, had been the one to kill Han Qingshan and his granddaughter. No wonder Lin Zixuan had fallen for him—he was far more powerful than her brother.

As Horn turned to address Mr. Wei and the others, he mocked, "He actually told me not to go too far. Do you think he's funny?"

Mr. Wei nodded, his voice filled with contempt. "Ye Qingtian, as the deputy minister of the Ministry of Talents, you should have some self-respect. Senior Su didn't attack you first. You were the one threatening to kill him, yet now you're playing the victim?"

Jiang Wan added coldly, "No wonder Zixuan looks down on you. So what if you're the deputy minister? You can't even compare to a hair on Horn's head!"

Ye Qingtian, spitting blood in his fury, snarled, "Horn, don't get too proud! If you kill me and my sister, our family won't let you go. We're from the Ye family of Kunlun Mountain, a true immortal-cultivating family, beyond the reach of these secular families."

His voice carried a note of pride as he continued, "At twenty-one, you've reached the Heavenly Star Realm. Impressive, but you have no idea how vast the world truly is. If the Ye family wants to kill you, it would be as easy as crushing an ant. But I'll give you a chance—submit to me, and I'll introduce you to the Ye family. You'll see just how insignificant you are."

Hearing this, Mr. Wei, Jiang Wan, and the others were stunned to learn the true origins of Ye Qingtian and Ye Binglan. They hailed from the powerful Ye family of Kunlun Mountain, a name that struck fear and awe in the hearts of many.

But Horn remained unfazed. "Have you finished your last words?" he asked, a hint of mockery in his voice.

Before Ye Qingtian could respond, Horn moved. In a flash, he kicked Ye Qingtian high into the sky. As Ye Qingtian soared through the air, terror etched on his face, he screamed, "How dare you!"

Horn calmly raised his arm, and with a simple wave, there was a loud "boom" as Ye Qingtian's body exploded in mid-air, bursting like fireworks, scattering blood and gore across the sky.

The plaza, once crowded with onlookers, was now eerily quiet. Only Mr. Wei and the others remained, their expressions frozen in shock. Even after Ye Qingtian revealed his true identity, Horn had shown no mercy, killing him without hesitation.
