Riser Phenex's Mansion
Riser entered the majestic mansion, accompanied by Yoruichi and Mirko. The luxurious and imposing atmosphere of the mansion provided a suitable setting for formal introductions.
Navigating through the corridors, Riser guided the two powerful women towards a room where he knew part of his Peerage would be gathered. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity, both from Yoruichi and Mirko, who observed the new environment with interest.
Inside the room, Nana, Yubelluna, Xenovia, Erza, and Shizuku were gathered, discussing strategies and exchanging information about recent activities. Upon noticing Riser and his newly arrived companions, the atmosphere in the room transformed into a mix of surprise and anticipation.
With a serene expression, Riser introduced his two recent additions. "Nana, Yubelluna, Xenovia, Erza, Shizuku, allow me to introduce Yoruichi Shihōin and Rumi Usagiyama, better known as Mirko.
Yoruichi, with elegance, observed the new environment, while Mirko proudly displayed her rabbit ears. Xenovia, curious, couldn't help but stare at Mirko, especially her unique characteristics. "Mirko, those rabbit ears are fascinating. Can I touch them?"
Mirko, laughing, willingly nodded. "Of course, go ahead. They're soft!"
Xenovia, carefully touching Mirko's rabbit ears, expressed her surprise. "Amazing! I've never seen anything like this before. Are they real?"
Mirko, shaking her rabbit ears playfully, replied. "Absolutely real!"
Erza, with her typical seriousness, addressed Xenovia. "Xenovia, refrain from bothering Mirko. Remember that she is an ally now, and we must treat her with respect."
Xenovia, stepping back with a playful smile, agreed with a nod. "Understood, Erza. Just curious. Mirko, sorry if I seemed intrusive."
Mirko, displaying her usual good humor, casually replied. "No problem, Xenovia. Feel free to ask questions or touch the ears whenever you want. It doesn't bother me."
While the interaction between Erza, Xenovia, and Mirko unfolded, Yubelluna approached with a warm expression. "Welcome, Yoruichi and Mirko. I'm glad to have you in our Peerage. If you need anything, I'll be at your disposal."
Mirko waved to Yubelluna, expressing her enthusiasm for being part of the Peerage.
Yubelluna, with her warm smile, welcomed Mirko and Yoruichi. "It's a pleasure to have you here. We're looking forward to working together."
Yoruichi, thanking for the hospitality, respectfully explained. "Yubelluna, I appreciate your kindness, but I must clarify that I'll be part of Sona-sama's Peerage. Riser-sama kindly allowed my inclusion in the group led by his wife."
Yubelluna, understanding the situation, nodded with respect. "I see, Yoruichi. Welcome to Sona-sama's Peerage."
Meanwhile, Merlin descended the mansion's stairs gracefully, her presence infused with a magical aura. Observing the new additions to the group, Riser noticed Merlin and waved to attract her attention.
"Merlin, perfect timing. Let me introduce Mirko, the latest addition to my Peerage. She has unique rabbit characteristics, and I was thinking you could teach her some magic to conceal these traits when necessary."
Merlin, with her piercing eyes, observed Mirko with interest. "Ah, a devil with rabbit characteristics? Interesting choice, Riser. Certainly, I can help with that. Mirko, come to me."
Mirko, curious, approached Merlin, eager to learn more about magic. Riser explained the situation, indicating that Merlin could provide guidance on adjusting her appearance.
Merlin, with a nod, began to explain. "Mirko, the magic I'm going to teach is a form of illusion. It will allow you to hide your rabbit characteristics when desired. It's a useful skill to blend in among humans without drawing too much attention."
While Merlin guided Mirko through the steps, Riser watched with satisfaction. He knew Merlin was a skilled teacher, and Mirko was in good hands.
Meanwhile, Riser's thoughts began to wander to his wife, Sona. Her absence in the mansion was starting to bother him, and he wondered if it was time for her to return home. The night was approaching, and he wondered what kept her occupied for so long.
Feeling Sona's absence, Riser turned to Yubelluna, eager for some reassuring information. "Yubelluna, do you know where Sona is? I'm starting to worry about her delay."
Yubelluna, with a reassuring smile, replied. "Yes, Riser-sama. Sona left a message. She's at the school and plans to stay late to oversee the preparations for the meeting between devils, fallen angels, and angels."
Riser, upon receiving Yubelluna's information about Sona being at the school, gave a satisfied smile. The faction meeting was perfect for stealing the protagonist's spotlight. "Yubelluna, it would be prudent for me to visit Sona at the school. Additionally, it would be a good opportunity to introduce Yoruichi to her. What do you think?"
Yubelluna, understanding Riser's concern, agreed. "Certainly, Riser-sama. It would be a sensible decision. Sona-sama will be pleased to see you, and introducing Yoruichi to her is an excellent idea."
Riser, with a determined smile, turned to Yoruichi. "Yoruichi, let's go to the school to visit Sona. I think it'll be an ideal opportunity for you to meet her and get acquainted with the Peerage you'll be a part of."
Yoruichi, with her usual elegance, nodded with respect. "Understood, Riser-sama. I'm ready to accompany you."
At this moment, Yubelluna intervened, expressing her desire to join the visit. "Riser-sama, if you don't mind, I'd like to accompany you."
Riser, agreeing with Yubelluna's suggestion, responded courteously. "Certainly, Yubelluna. Your presence will be valuable. Let's all go to the school together."
Riser, after agreeing with Yubelluna, addressed Mirko with a serious expression. "Mirko, before we depart, I want you to pay attention to Merlin's lessons. Learning to control your magic will be crucial, and she is an excellent mentor. Focus and absorb all the knowledge you can."
Mirko, excited about the prospect of learning magic, responded with determination. "You got it, Riser-sama. I'll pay close attention and make sure to make the most of Merlin's lessons."
