Riser returned to his mansion after receiving the Ascalon sword from Michael. He was engulfed in thoughts about how to utilize the new weapon in his future plans.
Upon entering the mansion, Riser was greeted by Sona, his wife. However, instead of a warm smile, he was met with a look of irritation on her face.
"Sona, my dear, what's wrong?" asked Riser, trying to keep his voice calm and serene despite the tension in the air.
Sona crossed her arms, her eyes sparking with frustration. "Riser, you left without informing me again! Where have you been all this time? I was worried about you!"
Riser felt a pang in his chest seeing the concern in Sona's eyes. He approached her, gently holding her hands. "I'm sorry, Sona. There was an unexpected event, and I had to go to the abandoned church to meet Michael, the leader of the angels."
Sona frowned, her worry turning into disbelief. "Wait a minute, you went to meet Michael alone? Don't you think that's a bit risky? He's the leader of the angels, Riser. They might have other motives for wanting to talk to you."
Riser hesitated for a moment, realizing the validity of Sona's concerns. "I understand your concern, Sona. But Michael didn't seem to pose a threat. Besides, he offered me Ascalon as a token of gratitude. I don't think he would have done that if he had ill intentions."
Sona considered Riser's words for a moment, her gaze softening slightly. "What is Ascalon?" she asked, showing interest in the mentioned sword.
Riser smiled, relieved to be able to shift the conversation's focus. "It's a Dragon Slayer sword, a powerful weapon capable of inflicting significant damage to dragons. Michael gave it to me as a token of gratitude for my assistance during the confrontation with Kokabiel."
Satisfied with the explanation, Sona nodded slowly. "I see. It sounds like a formidable weapon."
Riser agreed, feeling grateful that Sona had accepted his explanation so readily. He knew he had more to explain, but decided to address the issue more calmly later. For now, he needed to calm the tensions and resolve the strain between them.
"Sona, can we talk more about this later? Right now, I'm a bit exhausted and would like to rest for a while," suggested Riser, hoping she would agree.
Sona looked at him for a moment, assessing his words. Finally, she sighed and nodded. "Alright, Riser. We can talk later. But please promise me you'll be more careful in the future."
Riser smiled, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders. "I promise, Sona. I'll be more careful next time."
With a nod, Sona stepped away, leaving Riser alone with his thoughts. He sighed, feeling relieved to have temporarily resolved the situation. However, he knew he still had much to do to ensure everyone's safety.
As he climbed the stairs towards the bedroom, Riser took the opportunity to quietly check the System.

Arriving at the room, Riser sighed in relief, finally finding a moment of peace and tranquility. He lay down on the soft bed, letting his mind wander as he reflected on the day's events.
"Finally, a moment of rest," thought Riser to himself, feeling grateful for the opportunity to relax after a hectic day.
[Time Skip]
Riser lay on his bed, lost in thought as he stared at the ceiling of the room. As he reflected on everything that had happened, the door to the room opened, and Sona entered, her expression showing signs of fatigue. Riser turned to look at her, concerned for his wife.
"Sona, are you alright?" he asked, noticing the tired expression on her face.
Sona nodded slowly, a small smile appearing on her lips. "I'm fine, just a little tired. It's been a busy day, but I'm glad to finally be able to rest for a bit."
Riser got up from the bed, going to Sona and enveloping her in a comforting hug. "I understand, my love. I'll take care of you. Do you want to talk about what happened today, or would you prefer to rest for a bit first?"
Sona returned Riser's embrace, feeling grateful to have such a understanding and supportive husband. "Let's talk later. First, I just want to take a quick shower to relax a bit."
Riser agreed, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead before stepping aside to allow her to go to the bathroom. As Sona prepared for her shower, Riser took the opportunity to relax a bit more in bed, letting his mind wander.
After some time, Sona emerged from the bathroom, dressed in a comfortable nightgown. She seemed more relaxed now, and Riser smiled at her.
"Feeling better?" he asked, getting up from the bed to help her lie down beside him.
Sona nodded, settling into bed next to Riser with a contented sigh. "Yes, I'm feeling much better now. The shower helped a lot."
Riser smiled, feeling happy to see his wife more relaxed. "I'm glad to hear that. Now, what do you want to talk about?"
Sona thought for a moment, organizing her thoughts before speaking. "Well, I was thinking about Yoruichi's abilities. She's amazing, isn't she?"
Riser nodded enthusiastically, remembering the impressive abilities Yoruichi demonstrated in Bleach. "Yes, Yoruichi is truly remarkable. Her speed and agility are unmatched, and she has a deep knowledge of martial arts among other things."
Sona agreed, her expression reflecting admiration. "I was impressed by her abilities too. It's incredible to see someone so talented in action."
Riser chuckled softly at Sona's excitement mentioning Yoruichi and, with a mischievous smile, gently pinched his waist. "What are you laughing at?" she asked, feigning a serious expression.
Riser grimaced, pretending to be in pain from the pinch. "Ouch! Nothing, Sona, I wasn't laughing at anything!" he replied, trying to recover from the pinch.
Sona laughed softly at Riser's expression but decided to drop the subject. Instead, she decided to thank Riser for something she had been thinking about for some time.
"Riser, thank you for including Yoruichi in my Peerage. I'm really looking forward to working with her and seeing her abilities in action," said Sona, her expression softening with gratitude.
Riser smiled, feeling happy to be able to do something that made Sona happy. "You don't need to thank me, Sona. I know how useful Yoruichi can be for us. And besides, I want to see you happy."
Sona felt a warmth spread in her chest hearing Riser's kind words. She leaned in to give him a kiss on the lips, expressing her love and gratitude in a more intimate way.
After the kiss, Sona adopted a serious expression, changing the tone of the conversation. "Riser, do you think tomorrow's meeting will go well? I'm a little worried about security, considering everything that has happened recently."
Riser pondered for a moment before responding confidently. "Yes, I think everything will be fine. But to ensure your safety, you should take Merlin and Nana with you."
Sona nodded, feeling more at ease hearing Riser's opinion. "You're right. I'll make sure everything is in order for the meeting. Goodnight, Riser."
Riser returned Sona's goodnight wishes, giving her one last kiss on the lips before closing his eyes and surrendering to sleep.
