Riser's Mansion in the Underworld
In the spacious living room of Riser's mansion, Sona was elegantly seated on a sofa, accompanied by Ravel and Asia. The tranquil atmosphere was imbued with a sense of anticipation as they awaited Riser's imminent arrival.
Suddenly, a bright aura enveloped the center of the room, announcing Riser and Yubelluna's arrival through teleportation.
Ravel, with joy sparkling in her eyes, leaped from the sofa with a radiant smile on her face. Her hurried steps took her in Riser's direction, and she couldn't contain the excitement bubbling within her. With a quick movement, she threw herself into Riser's arms, enveloping him in a warm and affectionate hug.
"Onii-sama!"
Surprised by Ravel's sudden gesture, Riser gently embraced her, returning the hug with tenderness.
After a moment, Ravel pulled away from Riser's arms, a determined look on her face as she straightened before him.
"What happened, Ravel? Why did you want to see me so urgently?" he asked, his voice calm and patient as he awaited her explanation.
"Onii-sama, there's something I need to tell you," she began, her voice firm and resolute. "It's about father... about his plan."
Riser tilted his head in curiosity, his eyes fixed on Ravel as he waited for more information.
"What about father?" he asked, his voice calm but filled with anticipation.
"He's plotting something terrible, Onii-sama," Ravel explained, her tone laden with concern. "He wants to hand Asia over to Diodora during his next Rating Game."
"I see," Riser finally said, his voice calm and controlled. "Thank you for informing me, Ravel."
Ravel nodded in response, her gaze still filled with concern.
"What do we do now, Riser-sama?" Asia asked timidly, her face pale with worry.
Riser looked at her with gentleness, his desire to protect her evident in his gaze.
"We'll make sure nothing happens to you, Asia," he replied, his voice soft and reassuring. "You're safe here with us."
"Yubelluna, please arrange a room for Asia in the mansion. I want to ensure she feels comfortable and secure here."
Yubelluna nodded in ready obedience, her expression serene as she approached Asia. With a gentle smile, she extended her hand to the young girl.
"Please, follow me, Asia-san. I'll help you find a comfortable room."
"Thank you, Yubelluna," murmured Asia, her tone filled with appreciation as she followed Yubelluna through the mansion.
After Yubelluna left the room with Asia to find her a room in the mansion, Riser sat on the sofa, accompanied by Sona and Ravel. The atmosphere was calm, but tension hung in the air as everyone was aware of the gravity of the situation.
"Onii-sama, what do we do now?" Ravel asked, her eyes fixed on Riser for guidance.
"Nothing," Riser replied calmly.
"Nothing?" Ravel exclaimed, indignant at Riser's apparent inactivity in the face of the situation.
Riser raised a hand to calm her. "I mean no one in the mansion will harm Asia. I'll deal with my father later."
Sona, with a pensive expression, adjusted her glasses as she spoke. "And what about your plan, Riser? What do you intend to do?"
"I'm not sure yet. But after the Rating Game, when I'm promoted to Ultimate-Class Devil, things will get easier."
Ravel nodded, confident in her brother's words. She rose from the sofa with determination. "Then, I'll trust you, Onii-sama. I'll talk to Asia and make sure she feels safe here."
She headed towards the corridor, her firm steps echoing on the marble floor as she moved away from the living room.
"I'll stay at the mansion during the Rating Game," announced Sona, her voice determined as she turned her attention to Riser. "I'll make sure Asia is safe and help in any way I can."
"Thank you, Sona. It means a lot to me," he said sincerely.
"I'll also participate in the Rating Game only with Merlin and leave the other girls to protect the mansion."
Sona, adjusting her glasses, raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Isn't it dangerous to fight in the Rating Game with only two people?"
Riser smiled confidently. "It is, but that's exactly what will make the victory more glorious. Besides, I trust Merlin's ability and my own strength."
Phenex Family Mansion
Victorius POV
As I walked down the mansion's hallway, I felt fury boiling inside me. My son, Riser, had crossed a line, defying my authority and disrespecting our family. He needed to pay for his insubordination, and I had a plan to ensure that.
Arriving at Ravel's room, I knocked forcefully on the door.
Knock, knock, Knock.
No response came from the other side, so I decided to enter. To my surprise, the room was empty. A wave of frustration and anger washed over me, and I couldn't contain my voice as I shouted.
"Ravel! Where are you?"
I rushed out of the room, my mind seething with thoughts on how to find my daughter and execute my plan to get revenge on Riser.
Desperate to find my daughter and set my plan in motion, I roamed the mansion's corridors in search of her, my voice echoing through the environment as I called out repeatedly.
"Ravel"
"Ravel"
"Ravel"
As I continued my frantic search for Ravel, I came across Romina.
"Victorius, what's going on?" she asked, her voice filled with anxiety as she watched me approach.
"Romina, where is Ravel?" I asked directly, my expression serious and determined.
"Isn't she in her room?"
I shook my head, my frustration growing. "No, the room is empty. I need to find her immediately."
"And you'll help me find her and that girl who wanders around the house dressed like a fair, be useful at least once in your life", I said, making clear my dissatisfaction with Romina's lack of action.
"Su-sure, dear"
Without waiting for more words from her, I quickly moved away, my steps decisive as I headed towards the mansion's corridors. My mind was focused on finding Ravel and executing my plan to get revenge on Riser.
