Three days had passed, but Jillian still had a fever, it just wasn't as bad as when she first got it.
Her body still felt weak and she had no appetite for food despite Aileen's efforts to persuade her. She only drank her tea to warm her stomach.
"Lian, you have to eat so that you can recover quickly. It's not good for you and your child," Aileen coaxed.
"I have no appetite for food. My head hurts too much to eat anything," Jillian replied.
"The servant has made you some porridge, you just need to swallow it to fill your stomach."
She shook her head and just looked down rubbing her belly. All she wanted right now was Dion's return. It might sound very childish, but her longing for Dion was very hard to bear.
Every night she could only lie alone, looking at Dion's empty bedside and feeling cold without him.
