Shocked, Jillian tried to get up and grab the man but she could not move herself at all. Ferid's magic still bound her very strongly, leaving Jillian with only tears in her eyes.
"No... No no no! What are you doing Aileen?!" screamed Jillian in disbelief at the sight of the man who was so badly injured that even the sword pierced his body.
"I'm protecting you, it's my duty as your knight to protect the princess. And I think this is my last duty," he replied, still smiling despite the blood flowing out of his mouth.
He had put the bracelet on Jillian's hand again so that she could move. "Save yourself."
Ferid drew his sword, making Aileen fall down helplessly with blood covering his body. Dion and Theodore did not even expect that Aileen would do that. They were just as shocked as Jillian at this moment.
