The horse-drawn carriage took Dion to a special river where the workers looked for gold grains there. This was his first time there after Philip asked him to check on the workers on the river as well.
Upon arrival, it turned out that the river was quite wide and the water flow was quite calm. There were already several workers there who were filtering the sand.
Seeing someone coming, the supervisor immediately approached Dion. "Good morning, you must be the new mining minister, Mr. Dion?"
"Yes you're right, then you?"
"I'm Raymond, I'm the one watching the river area." The two of them shook hands and started to see the workers there.
Raymond explained how many grams of gold they could usually get per day, how many hours the workers would work and other information Dion needed.
The blonde man nodded at Raymond's explanation to him. He also greeted the workers there to find out their nature and reduce people who intended to cheat.
