After four years and a lot of chaos, Viliana finally left to who-knows-where.
I could finally start my apotheosis without being nagged by my rebellious teenage daughter. The moment she left, I appeared in the Danmachi reality. The fact that these gods didn't even notice me showed how weak they were, I would probably have to eat a bunch of them to fully awaken my divinity.
Before they could even understand what was happening, I pinched the busty virgin goddess between my fingers and with one fell swoop I ate her like her father did in the original mythology. I was right, although gods had a wonderful taste, one was not nearly enough to awaken my divinity.
By now the other gods had taken notice of a giant hand coming down from space, dragging one of the gods with it, and shortly after feeling her disappear from existence. This was the first time a god had truly died and not just been sent to heaven but they all could feel it.
Due to their stupid rules, they were unable to use their divinity and could only order their families to protect them. Even under the threat of true death, they feared Ouranos more than me, hilarious.
Only after eating more than ten gods did Ouranos permit the gods to use their power to fight back, though it didn't make a difference. Even after devouring more than thirty gods, my divinity showed only small signs of awakening. It was annoying but understandable.
Regardless, I needed a lot more gods if I wanted to go through with my apotheosis, and I just where to find them. After eating all Orario, dungeon and tower included, I turned my gaze to their home of origin, Heaven.
Even if these gods weren't the original and didn't multiply like rabbits, there would still be thousands due to the many pantheons.
And I was right, the moment I entered their disgustingly bright and golden dimension, I was attacked by the combined force of pretty much every god in heaven. They were just making this too easy but to my immeasurable disappointment, it still wasn't enough to awaken my divinity. Guess I will have to travel this multiverse for a bit.
At some point, I grew tired of eating one universe after another and just turned into my true size and started eating universes like cookies. After thousands of universes, I was already infinitely close but I still needed one last push.
A push that came in the form of the furious primordial, Chaos. Of course, this wasn't the real one as I had already met the real deal at the gathering, instead, this was just the first being in this entire reality to get divinity which just so happened to be chaos.
Needless to say, if even the real deal wasn't my opponent, then he was falling short by a long distance and only offered himself to be devoured. After devouring his unusual powerful divinity, I finally felt something in my soul awaken, which should be impossible since I didn't have a soul.
It's been a long time so you might not remember but my soul was made out of Nothingness, so the only possible explanation was that my divinity followed this example. It was the divinity of Nothingness.
The moment I ascended, I suddenly felt the irresistible urge to sleep, which was unusual since I didn't sleep but this reaction was still in my calculations.
With my last few bits of consciousness, I teleported back into my tower. Who knows what some Outer beings would do to me once they found me napping in a destroyed reality and in the middle of awakening the most powerful divinity to exist… or not exist.
The next thing I knew was that I was in the Nothingness. Not in soul form or even body like I usually was, I was just there. This was the first time I had experienced this but I wasn't too concerned by it right now as I was having a load of knowledge implanted into my being by the Nothingness itself.
It was like I could hear the Nothingness talking and I was learning at an insane rate. I learned about it, the Outerverse, the creation of realities, and most importantly, myself.
While I was listening, I also got an idea to make use of the knowledge I just gained and get another major power upgrade, in fact, it couldn't even be called that, it was just removing anything holding me back.
