Chapter 182 - Truth 2

It was more like an urge to return than a call but I couldn't leave right now either way.

I still had a few things to do before returning and couldn't take the Tower with me as I still had not found a reliable way to make it exist in Nothingness for a prolonged period, leading me to the next problem, time.

While time was very unreliable here in the Outerverse, it was absolutely nonexistent an eternity could have passed by the time I entered the Outerverse again. I had a bit of an attachment issue for my family and while I could bear them leaving to other realities for hundreds of years, I didn't want to miss too much of their life.

I spend the next 40 years watching the girls and Leo adventuring across the fantasy worlds. Why 40 years when the Disenchantment plot only lasted for a year or so? As I said, time was very unreliable here.

Aside from watching them make friends and getting high with Bean, Luci, Elfo, and half of the moronic kingdom, I also nabbed a few things like the Crystal Ball, the Oracle Fire, and the Eternity Pendant.

The Crystal Ball was way too overlooked, not only could it show you any truth, but it also allowed time travel. The fire was just a cool way of spying on someone but after I combined it with the Crystal Ball, it formed a Crystal Ball that would make anyone, psychic or not, drool over it.

As for the Pendant, the entire first season was about it but was completely forgotten. In the first season, everyone just needed to drink the Elixir of Life to come back to life and be immortal but afterward, they would be overdramatic over each death, either going to hell to revive someone or having God do it for them.

And while the three- I mean, two items were pretty useless to me and were only good for occupying space in the tower, they gave me two ideas to further occupy the space and waste my time.

I already had one dimensional structure in a glass ball, so why not create a collection of snow globes, just instead of useless stuff inside, it will be universes, either captured or experimentally created ones.

The other plan was just as long-term, it was to open a collection of different Elixirs of Life, Fountains of Eternal Youth, Philosopher Stones, and so on, basically anything that could make you immortal from across the Outerverse. Again, it had no use to me but it was a great way to show off, though I highly doubted any mortal would ever get the chance to see this and go green from envy.

As much fun as it was to see both my daughters get played like babies by that sexy she-devil, that made me seriously think about getting into a real relationship and would be my dream woman if she wasn't so focused on ruling the world, and had 0 care for family, I still had other things to do.

I spend quite a while leisurely reading many of the infinite books in my library with snacks and the crystal ball next to me. I steered the Tower to fly near several Cultivation and Martial Arts realities, causing my Library to suck up all knowledge and information from there and go Manas: Librarian go into overtime.

I don't think I ever introduced Manas: Librarian, did I? Like its name said, it's a Manas, a spirit-like being that is made entirely out of knowledge, just that mine was obviously way more advanced.

My Librarian looked like a Saturn-sized version of JARVIS, floating in the very middle of my endlessly expanding library. All the knowledge my Tower sucks up gets sent to it, where it is filtered, organized, and turned into books, and that were only its basic features. The real miracle about it was that it could combine knowledge to create new ones and expand on existing ones, it worked with all subjects, Science, Magic, Cultivation, you name it, it was basically a super simulator that infinitely multiplied knowledge by using existing ones.

For example, It had been fed countless useless martial arts and combined and advanced them into one peerless one, after which it combined many peerless ones and formed martial arts that could no longer be described in words and continued the process infinitely.

This was all in preparation for when I was going to a Cultivation world. I needed something that was completely different from all other techniques and possibly didn't even make me have the same realms as the rest of the world.

Reading was fun and I haven't read a book in a long time, it made me think about how I could further improve my Library. The only things I could think of were Elemental Sight, Wanderer's Library, SCP-4001, Library of Heavens Path, and maybe the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception to further improve the LoHP's ability to detect and destroy flaws. There might be more but I wasn't going to travel the entire infinite Outerverse to find them.

Time passed quickly while reading, eating, meditating, forging, and experimenting with things that broke every law of physics, magic, and whatnot, until one certain day... night? when Ianara returned home alone to sleep, saying that she had enough adventuring and activity for a long time.
