Chapter 147 - Middle Earth 6

After three months of traveling, I finally arrived at Lake Town where I became a resident. It has been nine months since then and it was time for the company to arrive.

I didn't just waste my time in this filthy place either as I have been picking back up forging and working as a blacksmith, as well as started learning several languages, including dwarfish, elvish, and black speech.

Since I had so much time at hand and Middle Earth had many different languages that not only sounded good but also had magical properties and could be used for chanting, I decided that it was time that I created my very own language.

The process has been going slow, mostly because I had to learn these languages myself without anyone teaching me and because of their magical nature. With what I had in mind I wanted the elegance of elvish, the strength of dwarfish, and the power of Black Speech.

Black Speech was the hardest of them all since it was a language that was so evil and powerful that just talking in it could influence the surroundings depending on how powerful the one who was speaking was. Gandalf was a good example of that, when he spoke in Rivendell, the ground started shaking and the light started fading while nothing happened when orcs spoke it.

The creation of this language was going to take a while and I still wanted to learn more languages to integrate.

I didn't even need to pay attention to Bart to know that the fourteen shorties had arrived, rumors spread quite fast in this small place. It wouldn't be long before ten of these members left for the mountain, leaving four behind that I could deal with easily, and before this Town would be in flames. It honestly couldn't happen fast enough in my opinion, this place was just too damn disgusting.

From what I had seen, most places of Men were like that while elves built to make it last long and look beautiful to the eye since they were going to use whatever they had for a long time, whereas the dwarfs build things for them to work and do some minor beautifications afterward.

A day after the rumors of the dwarfs spread, we were summoned to the Town Master's house to watch him judge them. Things played out like I thought and the greedy narcissistic pig of a Town Master happily welcomed the dwarves after being promised some gold.

After a night of celebrations and cheap wine, everyone gathered to see them off. Tonight, the Orcs and two elves would come, setting my plans in motion. I had already prepared everything for Tauriel's capture and abduction.

Night came and I hid near Bart's house and watched as the Orcs sneaked over the roofs and attacked. I watched patiently as the two elves killed one orc after another until they split up with one chasing after the Orc leader and the other staying behind.

I was contemplating if I should kill Bofur before he delivered the medicine but I needed Tauriel distracted for it to not turn into a larger fight that might bring the prince back.

Seeing her start to ready the herb, I readied my arrow on the bow, this wasn't just any arrow but one laced with a powerful paralysis poison that I had created over the last year. This poison was potent enough to easily paralyze a troll, not to mention an elf.

Once she started applying the herb and chanting, with her back to the door, I took a deep breath before releasing the arrow.

The arrow narrowly flew through the door and struck her shoulder. Even when just 600 years old, her instinctive reaction was fast enough to take an arrow from her quiver and aim at the direction my arrow came from and shoot.

Sadly for her, the poison was already taking effect and she missed the spot where I shot the arrow from by several meters, not to mention that I had long left the spot and was now rushing to the house with two daggers ready.

Glamdring was too long to use in such a narrow space so I had specifically forged myself these daggers but even then it should be easy to deal with one paralyzed elf, three human kids, one deaf dwarf, two normal ones, and a sick one, all with no weapons except the elf.

By the time I arrived at the door, the three dwarfs had readied their weapons, the kids had taken a few things to throw, and Tauriel was kneeling barely conscious on the ground.

I ducked under a flying pan and stuck my dagger in Fili's throat, who was charging at me to tackle me to the ground. Ignoring the screams, I dodged the dagger Tauriel had thrown with her last bit of strength and threw my dagger at Bart's son who was desperately grabbing things to throw at me, lodging itself between his eyes, before grabbing Tauriel's dagger that stuck in the wall behind me.

Not long after, I was surrounded by six corpses with only the barely awake elf and the dying dwarf on the table. To end the deal, I just walked over to the table with nobody to stop me and rammed my dagger into Kili's chest with Tauriel watching helplessly with tears in her eyes before she couldn't hold on any longer and finally fell unconscious.

The poison wouldn't kill her but it would keep her from struggling until I got her out of Lake Town with a small boat and threw her into the basement of a nearby ruin I had found long ago and renovated for this exact moment.

Even an elf's keen eye couldn't possibly track me traveling by boat and Legolas would assume she died in the dragon's fire.
