Chapter 26 - First Year

First Pov

It´s been two weeks since professor Flitwick started to give me private lessons and I have already learned everything he was allowed to teach me. Learning how to write in the air wasn´t that difficult if you ignore the fact that I had to write mirrored, what was a little bit trickier however was silent casting. Normally you would practice a spell until your skilled enough to do it silently but because I didn´t have that option he had a pretty hard time teaching me it but being the genius, I was, I learned it with shocking speed regardless. I had now pretty much mastered silent casting without ever casting normally, if only I could to the same with wandless casting. It only been a few weeks and I was already tired of waving this toothpick around, why couldn´t I at least have a cool Staff like Gandalf or Saruman. Maybe I can make myself one in the future but for that I would need to have extensive knowledge about wand crafting and the only place where I could get it easily and fast was from the afterlife that existed behind the Veil in the ministry. Another reason why I didn´t plant a World tree this time was because I simply didn´t need to, all souls that ever died were being held there and all I had to do was take them but I didn´t want all that knowledge about magic just yet. I wanted to live like a normal student and study for at least a year but it seemed I had to make a trip to the afterlife once the schoolyear was over.

I had finally time to explore now that my private classes were over, so I was currently wandering around the castle aimlessly. I had originally planned to check out the Room of Requirement on the seventh floor but apparently the stairs had other plans and I was sent from one floor to another, just not the seventh. I wanted to know if the RoR was suitable for my purposes because I honestly had my doubts that it was as good as it was often portrayed. It clearly wasn´t very sturdy as shown when that pink toad destroyed it with just a few bombarda´s and it´s existence was known to exactly these people I wanted to avoid by using it. I was thinking about making my own secret room in these castle walls, after all if four idiots could gain access to the ward, then I could definitively bypass them and modify the castle and it´s wards but I still needed to see how the RoR was made so that I could recreate and potentially upgrade it.

I didn´t manage to find the RoR because of these fucking stairs but at least I found the kitchen next to the Hufflepuff entrance because I missed lunch. These house elves were very happy to serve someone food, a little too enthusiastic for my taste but whatever, they reminded me that I also had to get a slave, not a house elf or because I needed one but simply because my sadistic side demanded it.

It´s been a few months and nothing much has happened. Since I spend most of my time learning, I was able to get skilled enough to comparable to most fifth years, of course only skill wise and not spell wise but that was going to change next year. I had also finally managed to get to the RoR after 4 fucking day and it was just like I suspected, it may be useful to have whatever you needed inside or to get away from students and a few unknowing professors but other than that it was rather useless. The headmaster and possibly the heads of houses would still be able to know where you are because the portrays were very chatty and the walls of the RoR didn´t hinder ghosts. I spend some time recording the rooms mechanics, before I finally started to make designs for my own home.

Over the last few months I had a lot of time to think and decided against building just another room in the castle, I decided to make a home for myself that I could take with me anywhere I go. I was planning to create it inside my grimoire because that was the only way I could think of transporting it through the Nothingness but I also wanted it to exist outside of the grimoire, so basically, I wanted to create a place that was in two places at the same time and one location can be changes freely. It was a very complicated process but it was doable. For the interior, I want something similar to the RoR but not quiet the same. I want my home to be a near infinite space containing near infinite rooms, upon entering you would find yourself in what I would just call 'the Lobby'. The Lobby was probably just going to be a floor inside a black space but once you desired to go to sleep, a door would appear and lead to a bedroom. That way everything was just going to be one door away and the old room would stay unchanged, Kitchen? Next door. Gaming room? Next door. Torture chamber/Sex dungeon? Next door. This design felt way more comfortable zo me then living in a single, everchanging room.

This project was defensively going to take years, possible several travels and if I don´t find a way for my home to grow and evolve on its own, all of eternity. On a side note, I met a certain metamorphmagus a while ago, she was going to graduate next year, so enough time for me to get some spells to have some 'fun' with her. I hope she screams, begs and cries.

Damn, my sadistic side has been growing lately. Whatever.
