When one usually hears the words untethered, they usually think of severing all emotions and attachments to the mortal coil.This, I don't agree with. After all what's the use of cultivation if at the end of it all you are left with only an empty husk.
After sweat and a few rivers of blood, I gained some enlightenment and created the 'untethered records' .
The theory behind it is that man undergoes stages of development during cultivation and these are, mortal, earth, heaven and transcendence. So far I've only gotten enlightenment of the path in the mortal stage. It all started with a question, what is a mortal, which can also be translated into' what is a man' . my answer was ," a being which experiences the seven emotions and six desires, he lives and dies" and so the first stage of my cultivation will be to experience the seven emotions and six desires with the aim to control them and even have influence over them to a certain extent and the perfection of this stage would be some form of pseudo-death to understand a few laws of life and death on the mortal level .
By understanding the emotions, I'll control the desires. My first was love and yet after my traumatic love life, I doubted my ability to fall in love, hence I sealed my memories of my romantic past in my last life .
This was to easily fall in love or witness it unbiasedly.
In my journeys I had met a lovely elven girl who acted as my assistant in the caravan ,I only later found out it was the elven queen. Hence I'd developed feelings for her easily and from her words before she ascended, I guess she found out about me being the quiet leader of the monsoon caravan.still it's not until now that I've confirmed my feelings for her and how is that exactly, well its simple, I differentiated between love and list when I easily cut any romantic ties to the empress but failed to do so with nosy little elf. To make things clearer she had turned on me faster than a viper and a rat .
There is no one sided love,that is simply infatuation. All this thought about the little elf has got me all heated up, I wonder what gift she's going to give me.
Hope it's not one of her usual pranks to get my attention .
