We spent several days practicing combat and magic. On the day the adventurers were to arrive it was decided we would rest. They were due to arrive late that day. So, after a day of socialization and lounging we prepared to receive them at the 6th bell, or sunset. We would be introducing ourselves, discussing the plan, and then retiring to enter the dungeon early tomorrow.
I was very nervous about entering the dungeon. I had picked up my training sword from Keegan's shop in the intervening period. Fazio and my armor were ready and fit perfectly. Dungeons were very dangerous and going in not knowing how my system would interact was a source of anxiety for me.
These adventurers were vetted by Selahe's information network so they should be safe. Mother, Anna, and Selahe all cautioned me separately that they shouldn't be trusted.
