"What?!" I exclaimed. I was unable to maintain the noble-meal-cool-and-calm I was supposed to.
Selahe smiled at me and admonished, "Calm yourself, young master." He paused for me to relax before he continued, "But yes, there is a dungeon under the villa." Dungeons were a common thing in this world. I hadn't read much about them, however.
Selahe added, "The dungeon below us is the reason that Sampagnanoli exists. Also why this villa was built here." He smirked and said, "After all, this location is rather inconvenient, being so far away from the city."
"Tell me more about the dungeon," I asked.
Selahe explained, "Well, I don't know much about what's inside. I've never been in there myself."
