My mother was planning on arriving in the afternoon two days after I told Selahe. Fazio and I trained with Selahe on group tactics all yesterday. I was also instructed to write the combat-related spells I knew for my mother to review.
It was a difficult question, honestly. Because of my knowledge, I had a lot of hypothetical combat spells. However, I hadn't perfected or tested any, except firing a bullet. I decided to write just that spell and let my mother guide me.
I was kind of excited to receive personal guidance from her. Fletcher was smart but was rarely around to show me things. Selahe also told me that she would show me how to make my own mana vessel.
After lunch, I waited for her out in the courtyard driveway in front of the villa. I marveled at the virgin forest. The smell of the forest was something I always enjoyed when outside here. Such a sight would be impossible in my old world.
