Aiya woke up confused in that white room where she floated. Where was she? The last thing she remembered was being at her forward post, hearing the bombs falling in the distance. She felt around in the dark, trying to find a way out, but the walls were smooth. That's when she realized her feet didn't touch the ground. She then remembered the explosion, the blinding flash, the pain that took over her body... Would this be the "heaven" her father used to talk about?
While pondering her memories, she heard a deep, majestic voice echoing in the distance:
"Aiya Ohayon, you have been summoned as a heroine of the world of Hua. Please edit your persona in this new world."
Then a strange screen appeared before her, floating in the air. On it she saw blank fields asking for information. Her brain was buzzing with questions, but she decided to trust that voice. She carefully filled in the details of her life: name, physical appearance as a soldier of the Special Forces, combat and tactical skills. However, she remembered the games her brother used to play and decided to add elf ears to her persona in homage to him.
When she finished, she asked the voice:
"Where am I? What is this place?". But she received no answer. The screen simply disappeared.
Suddenly, she felt herself falling wrapped in a bright light. She screamed frightened, until her fall was interrupted by a dull thud. She was alive in a strange place, very different from her world.
When Aiya woke up, she found herself naked and bound, being dragged in a cart through the mountains. She tried to speak to the men, but they did not understand her language. She then realized she was in a real physical world, and not in some game or simulation as she had imagined. Unable to negotiate, Aiya decided to wait and see what they would do with her. After hours of travel, they arrived at an imposing stone castle. There, she was received by King Omaza I of Zagreliv, a short, stout man who watched her curiously.
In vain she tried to ask for freedom with gestures and expressions. The king just laughed, ordering her kept imprisoned. At least she was glad not to be treated as a slave. In the dark dungeon, Aiya reflected on how to return. She knew how to handle weapons, but was fragile there without her equipment. She decided to wait and observe the customs of that place, in order to escape without violence if possible.
The King Omaza I of Zagreliv only summoned his sorcerers to try to discover what language Aiya spoke. When King Omaza I's sorcerers failed to make Aiya speak her language, they resorted to more sinister torture methods, hoping to discover her origin. She was subjected to painful trials, with magic and wounds to draw her blood and test spells.
However, Aiya bravely resisted, enduring the pain in silence. Her extensive military training had prepared her to withstand any storm. Even wounded, she maintained her haughty posture and challenging gaze. Given the lack of results, the sorcerers informed King that she did not seem to be a threat. Omaza, avid for riches, then decided to sell her as a rare slave, because of the mysterious origin of the "meteor elf".
Aiya was chained and sold to unscrupulous merchants. They exhibited her throughout Zagreliv, hoping to attract the wealthiest for bids in their dispute. Her exotic beauty and martial bearing awakened the covetousness of the lords. However, she remained resilient. She knew that whether sold or not, her true destiny would be to fulfill the mission of protecting that world, as chosen to be the heroine. She awaited any breach to escape and continue her way.
In the slave auction, the highest bid came from Draku, a known recruiter of warriors for the clandestine battle arenas. He was impressed with Aiya's athletic physique, arousing his curiosity to know if she was as skilled in combat as she looked. Draku took her far from Zagreliv, toward the Swamps of the Damned, where he commanded the underground arena. There, warriors of all races and origins were forced to fight to the death, for the entertainment of the dark lords.
Upon arriving, Aiya was thrown into a dirty dungeon, awaiting to be chosen for the next bloody show. But her indomitable spirit would not be broken.
Aiya was thrown straight into the arena by Draku, barely recovered from the tortures. Her opponent was Axehand, a man whose arms were sharpened axes. She was weak from hunger and thirst. The arena was gloomy, without seeing the spectators, giving advantage to the most brutal. Aiya had only a dagger, at a disadvantage against Axehand's axes.
The fight was bloody. Axehand shattered the ground while Aiya barely escaped. Her energy was running out, defeat seemed certain. Then, amid the pain, she thought "I want to win!". At that moment, the mysterious screen appeared again, now with a new talent "Miracle".
Driven by the will to survive, Aiya raised the dagger and, in a single deadly blow, cut Axehand's arms to pieces, surprising everyone. Her ability to combine willpower with technique had been enhanced. Draku saw in her a great potential, while the audience acclaimed the arena's winner.
After countless bloody battles, Aiya established herself as the undisputed queen of the arena. Her military strategy and martial arts skills rose to a new level, making her almost unbeatable. Draku began to fear her. He knew he would no longer control her. And Aiya also longed for freedom to fulfill her mission outside that place.
In her final fight, she challenged Draku himself, determined to end her arena cycle once and for all. Thanks to the lessons learned through the "game system", she could finally follow her way.
Free after defeating Draku, Aiya used her prize money to recruit allies in her mission. In a nearby tavern, she found three warriors willing to follow her: Meglin, a gloomy sorcerer guarding secrets of magic. His quiet appearance hid immense power. Cruxe, a strong and wild half-orc, but not very intelligent. Her brute strength would be useful and Aemon, a former assassin now adventurer, fleeing from his criminal past. His infiltration skills would complete the team.
Aiya exposed her true mission to them of defending the kingdom, promising fame and rewards if they helped. Their individual talents combined with hers would make them invincible. Although skeptical at first, they eventually accepted. They then formed an eclectic and powerful company, led by the intelligent and determined Aiya, capable of leading each one's skills.
After registering with the Adventure Guild, Aiya chose an introductory mission: to clean out a goblin nest in the mountains. Cruxe and Aemon had already faced goblins, assisting in planning. Meglin studied his spells, while Aiya reviewed tactics. Reaching the indicated cave, they saw the goblins' lair. Aiya signaled: Cruxe and Aemon would attack up front, while she and Meglin supported them from afar.
The noise alerted the goblins, who came out in a horde. Cruxe faced three at once, crushing heads with her mace. Aemon fled skillfully among the enemies, delivering precise thrusts. However, more goblins were coming. Meglin threw fireballs, leaving the area ablaze and confusing the monsters. Aiya felled them with her dagger.
In the end, only a grotesque goblin boss was left. It charged at Cruxe, almost knocking her down. But Aiya emerged and delivered a lethal blow, saving the valiant half-orc. Mission accomplished, they collected trophies as proof. They returned proudly to the Guild, where they received honors and bags of gold coins. Their skills were already improving working as a team under Aiya's wise leadership. Many adventures awaited them.
When they were returning to deliver the mission at the guild, Aiya heard from Aemon that there was a secret place in the capital of Zagreliv where people were made slaves and sold to men from afar. Not accepting this, they went there. When Aiya and Aemon arrived at the secret place in Zagreliv's capital, they came upon a sad scene. There were several people, mostly women and children, chained in a large dirty, dark cell. Armed men guarded the entrance with severe expressions.
Aiya motioned for Aemon to approach stealthily. "We will free these people" she whispered. She quickly analyzed the situation and saw they were only two against many. "Distract those guards while I try to pry open this lock", she planned. Aemon made noise to attract the guards' attention while Aiya worked on the chains. After some tense moments, she managed to open the door. At that moment, the prisoners stood up frightened, not knowing what to do.
"Run! You are free now!" Aiya shouted. At the same time, Aemon engaged the guards in hand-to-hand combat, disarming them one by one. The people began to flee in disorder. The remaining guards tried to pursue them, but Aiya and Aemon blocked their path in an intense fight to defend the innocent. After defeating the last enemies, the heroes sighed in relief. The people Those who were freed thanked emotionally. Justice had prevailed that day.
In the midst of the loot stolen from the bandits, Aiya found two short swords, with silver adornments and golden guards. She picked up the two swords and said that from that day on she would be a two-weapon warrior. Aiya was enchanted with the short swords she had found. "These blades will be perfect for my fighting style," she thought.
She called Aemon: "Friend, from now on I will be a two-weapon warrior! What do you think about helping me train?"
Aemon agreed to train her. Under his tutelage, Aiya quickly learned to skillfully wield the short swords with dexterity and agility. In a few days, she had already mastered advanced techniques of simultaneous attack and defense. Unfortunately, the fame of her heroic deeds had already spread throughout the city, even reaching the ears of Zumback, the great crime boss of the capital. He was furious to learn that his plans had been thwarted.
"Nobody dares oppose me!" he growled.
"I will find these rebels and teach them a lesson... Nobody crosses me and lives!"
Zumback gathered his cruelest henchmen and ordered:
"Find the elf warrior of the meteor and Aemon the ex-assassin. I want their heads!"
So Aiya and Aemon would soon be in danger. It would be the beginning of a new epic adventure to defend justice.
Aiya, Aemon, Cruxe and Meglin walked cautiously through the mountains after receiving a mission to hunt giant wolves. Suddenly, they heard growling behind them. An enormous pack of angry wolves advanced furiously. "Take positions!" Aiya shouted, drawing her short swords. A wolf leaped toward her, but she skillfully decapitated it. Cruxe and Meglin also fought bravely, but there were many wolves.
That's when sly men hiding among the rocks appeared. They were Zumback's henchmen, who had ambushed them. One of them hit Aemon from behind with his axe. "Aemon, no!" Aiya shouted desperately, seeing her friend fall. Now the wolves and henchmen surrounded the group. All seemed lost.
Suddenly, Aiya felt her rage and desire for revenge reach their peak. Her survival instinct rose above limits. Her body began to glow with a blue aura and her power exploded. In a blur, she let her blades fly, cutting throats in movements almost impossible for humans. Her teeth transformed into sharp fangs. One by one, her enemies fell, unable to keep up with her superhuman speed.
Exhausted, Aiya fell to her knees over the bodies of her defeated opponents. She was still in shock at her new ability.
After Aemon's funeral, Aiya met with Cruxe and Meglin. In her burning gaze was a thirst for revenge. Draku approached and said: "You will not face Zumback alone. My men will help you." Draku lent 30 of his boldest warriors. Aiya carefully planned an infiltration of Zumback's underground stronghold, located deep within a dormant volcano.
When night fell, the group set off. They crossed dangerous and mountainous terrain until finding the secret entrance described by Draku. Inside, torches lit labyrinthine passages. Silently, Aiya and her comrades headed for the heart of the complex, where Zumback's chambers were. But soon they found themselves surrounded by an army of mutant Beasts, created by Zumback himself in his dungeons.
A bloody battle began. Draku's warriors fought bravely, but the Beasts were even more numerous. Cruxe was wounded by poisoned claws. Aiya used her Miracle to face the Beast leader and defeat her. Exhausted, they continued cautiously. Until they spotted Zumback high up, laughing like a beast. Before he could sound the alarm, Aiya ran and knocked him down, placing her blades against his throat.
"Now you will pay for the lives you reaped, including Aemon's!" she growled. And slowly killed him, making him experience the same pain he had inflicted on so many. Her revenge was complete.
After defeating Zumback, Aiya felt she had completed her quest for vengeance. However, she knew she still needed to get stronger to protect those she loved. She bid farewell to Cruxe, Meglin and Draku's warriors, thanking them for all their help. But she explained that it was time for a solitary journey to enhance her skills.
Although solitary, Aiya knew that one day she would return better prepared to fulfill her calling and help people, as her deceased friend Aemon would have wanted. Her legend had only just begun.
