(Pov: Riser Phenex...) Status: Irritated.

The air in the grand hall seemed to freeze for a moment as everyone turned toward the open doors. The sight of my sister, Ravel, being forcibly taken ignited an overwhelming fire within me. My blood boiled, and every fiber of my being clamored for retaliation.

My mind worked quickly, trying to grasp the situation and determine the best course of action. However, instinct took over. In the blink of an eye, I summoned my flames. The scorching heat emanated from me, distorting the air around.

"Release my sister, now!" My voice echoed through the hall, laden with an authority that allowed no contestation.

The kidnappers hesitated, but one of them, a demon with scarlet eyes and a sadistic smile, stepped forward. "If you think you're so powerful, Phenex, come and prove it."

**

I felt the world spin around me as we were dragged into another dimension. A blinding flash forced me to close my eyes for a moment. When I opened them again, I found myself in a vast circular arena, the dark stone floor stained with ominous runes pulsing with arcane energy.

THRUMMM... THRUMMM...

An oppressive hum echoed, as if the very fabric of reality quivered under the impact of the spells that created this extradimensional realm. I lifted my eyes to the stands, facing the tense expressions of the devil leaders watching from elevated boxes.

["I can see now that all of this was planned. Damn you all. Satans. Serafall, did you know everything? Damn you..."]

Then, my gaze turned to the individuals who had dragged Ravel there. Their faces bore disdainful smiles, convinced they had devised an infallible plan to confront me.

"This is low even for you, you worms!" I roared, my voice taking on a sharp edge. "Involving my sister in this battle... You will pay dearly for this affront!"

Ravel was thrown to the ground unceremoniously, her clothes slightly rumpled from the rough treatment. She looked up at me, her expression serene, almost defiant. As if she knew this was nothing more than a minor skirmish.

"Riser, don't worry about me," she declared firmly. "Show these idiots what happens when they dare provoke a Phenex!"

FWOOOSHHH!

My crackling wings of fire unfolded in all their glory, the spectral flames shimmering with the blinding brilliance of a thousand suns. The heat was intense, capable of easily melting the toughest metals.

A guttural roar escaped the throats of my tormentors as they recoiled, raising their arms in a futile attempt to shield themselves. I approached them slowly, my ankles sinking into the molten stone forming beneath my steps.

"Last chance..." I dragged the words, letting a veiled threat hang in the air. "Retreat and beg for mercy, and I will spare your pathetic lives!"

To my surprise, one of them let out a disdainful laugh, spitting in my direction. The saliva boiled before it even touched the scorching ground.

"You're just a bully, Riser! Show us that vaunted strength, if you have the guts!"

"So be it!" I affirmed and finally let my fury loose.

SNAP!

My self-control snapped with a mental crack. A battle cry erupted from my chest as I charged with all the fury of a falling meteor. My fists met their faces with the force of an anvil in rage, spreading hot blood and viscera in a grotesque arc.

CRUNCCCHHH! SPLURTCCCHHH!

Their screams were drowned out by the carnal noise of jaws and bones being reduced to crumbs. One of the most resistant was thrown against the walls like rag dolls, their bodies leaving bloody marks on the ancient rocks.

SMACCCCKKK! THUDDDD!

I was an unbridled force of nature, unleashing my fury against those idiots for daring to involve Ravel. Each devastating blow made the ground shimmer with my infernal power, as if the very bowels of the world trembled before my overwhelming wrath.

In a matter of seconds, only ashes remained scattered across the arena. The smell of blood and burnt flesh filled my nostrils as I stood again, my breath escaping in ragged puffs of steam.

A deathly silence hung over the stands as I turned toward the devil leaders. Without any hesitation, I pointed a finger in a mute accusation. They knew who to blame for such an atrocity. For awakening the demon that dwelled within me.

Then, slowly, I returned to the center of the arena, where Ravel still sat. I knelt beside her, gazing at her with concern.

"Are you alright, little sister?"

She nodded, smiling serenely.

"I'm fine, Riser. I knew nothing could stop me after seeing your determination."

I hugged her tightly, relieved that everything had ended well. I knew that sacrifices would be necessary for me to achieve the power I so desired. And that day, I proved that I was willing to cross any line for the sake of those I loved.

As both of us were teleported out of the arena.

[Victory for Riser Phenex!]

**

I took a deep breath, trying to calm the last vestiges of fury still burning in my chest. I looked around, analyzing our new location. We were in a spacious room, lavishly decorated in shades of red and black, with heavy velvet curtains hanging from tall arched windows.

FWUMP!

A scarlet smoke dissipated in the air as Serafall Leviathan, the adorable Ice Queen, materialized before us. Her green eyes sparkled with a mixture of reproach and amusement.

"Mooou~~ Riser, you naughty boy!" She scolded, wagging her chubby finger in my direction. "If Ajuka hadn't teleported us back, you could have killed those idiots."

I gave her a penetrating look, still tasting the bitter remnants of the recent battle.

"Maybe that's exactly what they deserved for threatening my sister."

Serafall pouted exaggeratedly, making her dark curls bounce. "That doesn't change the fact that you went too far!"

Ravel raised her hand in a placating gesture. "Please, Lady Serafall, don't blame my brother. He merely reacted as any Phenex would to protect his family."

A new dark figure burst into the room, materializing as Sirzechs Lucifer, the powerful Demon King of the Underworld. His serious demeanor contrasted with Serafall's playful air.

"Yes, Riser showed exactly the kind of power and determination I expected from him." His voice carried an imperious gravity, echoing off the stone walls. "It was a necessary test."

Serafall spun on her heels to face him, her eyes narrowing. "Even so, this 'test' went too far! We were lucky Ravel wasn't hurt!"

A slight smile curved Sirzechs' lips. "Lady Serafall, you should know I would never allow a lady of such noble standing to be harmed. This little ordeal was carefully orchestrated. Ravel was never truly in danger."

He then turned to me with an understanding look. "The purpose of this act was to reveal the depth of your bond with those you love. And you did not disappoint, Riser. Your ferocity and absolute commitment to protecting your sister are worthy of a true lord of the Underworld."

The tension seemed to dissipate slowly in the room. Ravel intertwined her arm with mine, a tender gesture that calmed me inside. At that moment, I could see beyond the illusion of power and ambition that constantly consumed me. I remembered what truly mattered - my eternal bonds with my family and loved ones.

"Your Lordship is very wise," I replied with a respectful bow. "I hope this ordeal has served to strengthen not only my power but also my resolve to protect those dear to me."

Sirzechs nodded, his expression becoming solemn. "Yes, Riser. This is a lesson that all of us, rulers of the Underworld, must carry forward. No matter how ruthless we need to be at times, we must never forget what truly drives us - the love and devotion to those who are loyal to us."

**

(At the same time – The elder devils were conversing among themselves.)

Elder Glasya-Labolas – ["Ha. I knew this boy would lose."] the clan elder said with a smile on his face. Almost as if expecting someone else to become the new "Heir of the clan."

"Elder Glasya-Labolas, it seems you haven't taught good manners," stated an old woman. Although all were "old devils," their appearances were no different from humans in their 30s.

The only one who was silent while observing the entire situation was Zekram Bael. After all, he had already expected a crushing victory from Riser. After all, he had an informant who said that Riser, at 9 years old, was already at Satan-class in demonic power.

Thoughts of Zekram: ["Despite being caught off guard. Riser quickly investigated the situation and knew it wasn't just caused by the two little devils. And that the other Satans, or more specifically Sirzechs, were testing him. We take the fact that the Satans tried to expand to the number of 7 satanic devil houses. So it's more than likely that he's not just being trained as usual but rather to replace a member."]

Zekram Bael, despite wanting to analyze only Riser, managed to reach the main information. The expectation of a Satan's replacement. Although Riser would be approved if he wanted to become a Satan, given his power and contributions to the devil pillars.

Zekram Bael smiled as a black mark appeared on his forehead. (A/N: During Riser's return, he activated the online system. This refers to the power of darkness. Unfortunately for Zekram, who doesn't have a commandment, his mark is small. Unlike Riser, whose mark is similar to Meliodas or Zeldris. And yes, this also helped the two, Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas and his "male" Queen.)

(A/N: Glasya-Labolas is the clan of a Satan as well. Fálbio Asmodeus. Just as all Satans have their cousins or sisters marrying Riser. Now that Riser's power is confirmed. For some reason, Iryuka Glasya-Labolas will become the new heir. Along with a marriage contract. And yes, Iryuka Glasya-Labolas is the same age as Ravel.)
