The man used the hand he was flying on to rush to the surface. Leaping off it and thrusting both of his hands to the floor.
The multicoloured rings on his fingers gleamed bright, and runes poured out them, forming a great rune that crashed down into the ground, erupting and destroying the ground.
Dust clouds rushed the area washing over the houses.
Konin was still deflecting the hands when he heard the ground erupt. Buildings came down, and the man was nowhere to be seen, but suddenly, from the heavy dust clouds that blocked out the surface; an enormous amount of gust stretched out from the ground and reached toward Konin.
There were no hands around Konin, so he fell straight towards it.
Konin fell from the sky. Taking a deep breath. Reassuring his grip on his blade. He fell headfirst through the vast rupturing dust.
Approaching it a colossal arm made of stone stretched out for him. Widening his eyes, Konin directed his body towards the pinky finger and rotated his body in the air to cut it off. Driving his knife into its body immediately after.
As he fell, his knife drew a thin line into the stone body. Konin gripped his knife, moving his wrist to change the direction of his movement, dodging the rings of light that attacked him and the arms that shot at him both with magic and some without
The ring of light cut off the arm at the area below him. He swiftly pulled out his knife and leapt off the arm. Below him was a flaming arm that shot out fire like a flamethrower immediately as Konin entered its range; behind Konin, the arm that was cut off came crashing down, bulging and swirling before breaking down and shooting down at Konin sharp stone spikes.
Konin turned back and deflected a few, dodging the remaining. A few grazed him, ripping his clothes. That was the closest the man had come to laying a hit on Konin.
