"No! Sebastian you will listen to me, you cannot just sweep me off my feet and buy luxuries to stop me from having an opinion. In fact I believe I should move out of your place. I for one believe that my personal ethics do not align with staying over at a stranger's house." Sheila railed as they got down from the car.
This was not what Sebastian had expected when he bought off the hottest Italian restaurant for the evening. He had sent flowers and a beautiful dress and pair of shoes that Sheila was wearing at the moment.
He sent Pietro his driver to pick her up from the house and he had the most intimate candle lit dinner set up, one that would make any woman keel over. Sheila seemed awed at first not until they started talking. His head throbbed as he remembered the incident.

"Wow! Posto Elegante! You sure know the big places, how did you get a reservation? Wait! There is no one here? Sebastian, you really did not have to do that." Sheila said as he helped her into the restaurant, the gorgeous peach satin dress was something she herself would have picked and the fact she changed the shoes into a more comfortable but elegant black wedge heels meant a lot to her.
She knew Sebastian hated attention despite his fame and popularity and with the rumours still running around, he would want their date to be private. She almost felt a "stalker vibe" when she received the flowers, tulips and daisies, her favourite ones that her ex did not even know or bother to ask, how Sebastian knew was a wonder.
The owner met them at the door, introduced himself as Gianni and led them to the most romantic looking dinner set up. Her eyes widened in surprise and she knew Sebastian was watching her with pride.
Everything was going on smoothly, a menu was given to them and a waiter brought garlic bread sticks and an olive spread. She was enjoying the moment, getting to know each other until the discussion on the circumstances that brought them together came up.
"Amore mio, you just leave it to me, maybe you should travel to Paris or shop at New York, relax and have fun. Leave all this rumours and let me spoil you." Sebastian said as he kissed her hands. Sheila frowned and wriggled her hands away, she was not one of the simpering girls that were easily bought by these things.
"I believe I am entitled to my own opinion and my own ambitions. Why won't you allow me to know anything about the investigation? My name was soiled, I was ridiculed, I lost my job and my students, I failed my mother and my lying cheating ex is going to have a great wedding while I should do what? Travel around the world and shop like I have no cares. Listen Sebastian! All my life I had to work for everything I am, my grades, my scholarship, my father's love and respect, even my broken engagement. I put my heart and soul into it. And you expect me to drop it all at your feet." She said angrily, as she wiped tears of frustration from her eyes.
"Mia cara, will you please listen to me? I just want you to be..." he was cut short by her standing up, "It's always about what you want, this is my life, my efforts, my achievementso going down the freaking drain. Please just take me home! I am sick and tired of all this. I am not your toy! I am human not a puppet!" She said as she stood up and eyed him.
Poor Gianni was bringing a bottle of wine when he met them arguing, his green eyes widened and his face managed to look pale. Sheila just excused herself and ran to the door, she felt her tears rushing out if her eyes. Did she just ruin the hottest date with one of the most eligible bachelors in the world? Did she just turn down offers of luxurious outings because she wanted to voice out her opinions?
She was still lost in thought when Sebastian came and put his coat over her shoulder and led her to the car. They both said nothing to each other, she was just sobbing into her dress, the raw pain of betrayal and shame clouded her. She did not notice when she slept off in his arms.
"My angel, I know I have hurt you but you should know I want the best for you." She heard Sebastian as she woke up, she put her head up and eyed him. She wanted to talk but she discovered that they were in his home.
"No! Sebastian you will listen to me, you cannot just sweep me off my feet and buy luxuries to stop me from having an opinion. In fact I believe I should move out of your place. I for one believe that my personal ethics do not align with staying over at a stranger's house." She said as the driver opened the door for them.
The look of fury on his face almost alarmed her but she stood her ground, He sneered at her and dragged her by her hands, "If you want to stay far away from me then I know how to ensure that." Sheila fought him as he carried her over his shoulders and took her to his room.
"Why are you still railing about your ex and the stupid engagement? Is it because you love him, you still love him? After all he did to you." He said as he dropped her on the bed and climbed on her. Sheila struggled under him, but he was stronger than her, she did not understand what he was saying, she did not love her ex, she just wanted revenge was that too big to ask.
Seeing Sebastian's face contorted in anger and him trying to undress her made her calm down. "Sebastian! I don't love him, please don't do this, please!" She tried to scream out ,but he was too angry to hear her. Suddenly she burst into tears and that calmed him. He stood up from her and grabbed his clothes and left.
