Aetherius' power began to stir, and he declared, "It's my turn now, Gerald. Lady Seraphina, take a step back; I'll take care of this. This time, I'll keep you safe." She swiftly jumped back, and Aetherius rushed forth with lightning speed, delivering a forceful kick to Gerald, unable to counter Lady Seraphina's retreat.
Aetherius surveyed the area. Desiring a weapon, Lady Seraphina tossed her katana to him, urging: "Take it and demonstrate your prowess!"
With a swift and showy motion, he took up the katana. Channeling his power in a way that felt like second nature, he moved with a lightning-fast speed towards Gerald. Their blades clashing, they seemed to split the sky in two.
Aetherius' skill was obvious, as his blade cut through the air and clashed with Gerald's. The sparks flew as the blades met, and Aetherius pushed forward, pushing Gerald back. Gerald was starting to become overwhelmed as Aetherius' power and skill began to prove to be an unstoppable combination.
Lady Seraphina watched with awe, and she could feel the power radiating from Aetherius. Gerald's confidence had begun to waiver, and it was clear that he was starting to tire. His movements were no longer as fluid as before, and Aetherius was able to take advantage of his weakened state. With one final flurry of blows, Aetherius was able to break through Gerald's defenses and disarm him.
Gerald jumps back, his eyes wide with shock and fear. "You really are your father's son! I guess it's time to take this seriously now," he says, his voice trembling with intensity. His body is tensing, ready to fight. He knows that this is a battle he must win.
Gerald thrust his hands outwards, his katana slicing through the air as it flew back into his grip. He wanted to end this peacefully, but he could see that his opponent was determined to challenge him. Fine, Gerald thought, let me show you the true strength of a god. His eyes blazed with a fiery intensity, and the air around him crackled with power. His voice boomed out, shaking the ground beneath his feet. "Now you will know my true might!"

As Gerald regained his composure, a surge of divine energy enveloped him. The air crackled with power as he channeled the might of a god. I tightened my grip on Lady Seraphina's katana, preparing for the onslaught that was about to come. Gerald lunged forward, his movements now infused with newfound strength. Our blades clashed once again, sending shockwaves through the battlefield.
The clash of steel echoed in the air as we engaged in a fierce exchange of blows. Gerald's strikes were swift and powerful, but I matched him with agility and skill. Lady Seraphina, still at a safe distance, watched the battle unfold with a mix of concern and admiration.
The ground beneath us trembled with the intensity of our clash, and sparks flew as our blades met and parted. Gerald, determined to prove the extent of his godly strength, unleashed a barrage of energy-infused attacks. Each strike was accompanied by a burst of divine power, creating dazzling displays of light. I focused on defense, parrying the strikes with precision and determination.
But then in an instant, a huge bolt of lightning blasted towards us and we both leapt away in terror. When the smoke had cleared, we saw seven mysterious figures standing in the middle, their faces shrouded in shadows, their expressions unreadable. We could feel the tension in the air, and it was as if time had suddenly stopped.
Lady Seraphina exclaimed in delight, "Ah, at last the seven crimson lieutenants of the Crimson Gods' army have arrived!"
The first rank lieutenant strode forward with an air of authority, drawing his green emerald katana from its sheath and pointing it menacingly at Gerald. His voice rang out, full of authority and menace, "I don't know what you're doing here, but I'm telling you, leave now or I'll have to put an end to you here and now. When I face the God King, I'll have to beg for his forgiveness for killing his beloved little brother."
Gerald sheathed his katana with a resounding clang, his expression unresponsive. He surveyed the surrounding area with a sweeping glance. "I did not expect to see you all here so quickly, but I guess it is time for me to depart," he said in a deep, resonant voice. He turned his gaze to Aetherius, his eyes burning with intensity. "This will not be the end. I will see you again," he declared. In a flash, a portal opened behind him and Gerald stepped through, the portal quickly closing behind him.
