Chapter 31 - Synopsis

Main Character

Thapira is a 22-year-old graduate student. He is half Japanese and half Cambodian. His father was Japanese, and his mother was Cambodian. Sadly, his mother passed away due to cancer when he was about to start high school. His father, always busy with work and on business trips, worried about his son's well-being and decided to remarry a single mother who had two daughters. Thapira was loved by his new mother just like his real mother, and he was on good terms with her. After his father remarried, he found himself with two new family members, his step-sisters.

Thapira, known affectionately as Thap, is known for his kindness and constant concern for those around him. He has a gentle attitude and always puts others before himself, which has earned him the affection and respect of his family and friends.

After everything settled down, Thap became the only man in the household after his parents went to work. He had no choice but to look after the house and his two step-sisters: one was a year older than him, and the other was a year younger.

His older step-sister's name is Haruka Aiko. At the time Thap was in high school, she repeated a grade before transferring to the same school as Thap. Despite the one-year age gap, the two were in the same class. Haruka was not as mature as Thap or her younger sister; she always slacked off and struggled with her studies. Thap often found himself having to tutor her and keep her on track throughout high school until graduation. Haruka had a carefree and playful personality, which often clashed with Thap's more responsible nature, but their bond grew stronger through the time they spent together. His younger step-sister's name is Miko Aiko. She became very attached to Thap after she met him. Unlike Haruka, Miko excelled in school and always sought Thap's praise. She was diligent and responsible, often helping Thap around the house. However, her attachment to Thap became intense, to the point where she stopped listening to their mother or stepfather, only heeding Thap's words. Miko's admiration for Thap bordered on obsession, and she always tried to be by his side, eager to assist and please him in any way she could. In Thap's eyes, the two were like his troublemaker little sisters.

After Haruka and Miko came into his life, Thap spent most of his free time with them. However, Thap's life was not like everyone else's because of his kindness and sense of responsibility. His parents asked him to look after his step-sisters and promised him that if he graduated from university, he could leave the house and live on his own. Thap was grateful and accepted this condition, as his two step-sisters would always stick to him. After graduation, he finally moved to a single apartment far away from home with the money he saved from his part-time job. However, on the day he succeeded in his job interview, he arrived home and passed out on his bed. The next moment he woke up, he found himself in a strange world in an unknown body.

Strange World (Name: Unknown)

Important Characters so far:

Winston Harrington

Winston was known to be the country's best swordsman by the age of 17. Ever since he was a child, he underwent rigorous training to become the ideal successor of his family, the Harrington Household. Throughout history, the pure noble bloodline of the Harrington family has been passed from one generation to the next. Their blood, thick and charged with a formidable rage, endowed them with exceptional strength—a trait that could only be inherited by male offspring. This unique lineage made the Harrington men renowned for their unparalleled physical prowess and fierce determination, setting them apart from other noble families. Winston, as the current heir, embodied these traits fully.

Winston was a unique child; he was highly skillful and intelligent, but also very quiet and thoughtful. He rarely spoke to people, preferring to keep to himself and only engaging with those he deeply trusted. His quiet nature was often mistaken for aloofness, but those who knew him understood that he was simply reflective and considerate in his actions and words.

Winston has two sisters, Ella and Aria, who came from a different mother than him. Their mother was a commoner concubine that his father had feelings for on the same level as his current wife. Despite their different maternal heritage, Ella and Aria were not of purely noble blood but shared the Harrington name and status.

When he was 7 years old, his father, Richard Harrington, was tasked with training the prince of the Joustra Dynasty. Richard always took Winston along so he could train and test his skills with the prince. During this time, Winston met Fiora, the loner princess who was always reading at the royal library. The two became friends as they shared an interest in books and loved chatting with each other. Winston's thoughtful nature made him a good listener and a comforting presence for Fiora, deepening their bond over time.

When Winston reached the age of 16, his father wanted him to leave the house and train his sword by dueling with other swordsmen around the country and slaying demon beasts and monsters in the countryside. However, during those years, rumors began to spread about a change in Winston's behavior—he was said to have become arrogant, vulgar, and indecent from one place to another. When his father learned about this, he summoned Winston back at the end of his one-year journey and asked him to attend an academy and lay low until the rumors calmed down. At the same time, to improve their family's reputation, his father decided to have him engage with Claire Grey, the daughter of the current prime minister.

Later on, during the Class Ritual, Winston was revealed to be Classless (No Class - Normal Human). His father was furious when he heard the news. Desperate to restore honor, he decided to arrange a duel between Winston and Henry Cormac, the chosen sword hero by the goddess. Sadly, Winston lost the duel, leading to the loss of his fiancée and further disgrace. When his father heard the news, he decided to cut ties with Winston, disowning him and stripping him of the Harrington last name. After that, Winston vanished from the country without a trace.

Richard Harrington

Richard is Winston's father and the current head of the Harrington household. He is also the head commander of the military of the Joustra Dynasty. Richard is a stern and formidable leader, known for his strict adherence to tradition and his high expectations for his family, especially his son Winston.

Aria Harrington

Aria is Winston's younger sister. She is 16 years old, a year younger than Winston. Ever since she was a child, Aria was cheerful and healthy. She loved swinging swords, but according to the family rules, females of the Harrington household were not to be involved in fighting. Instead, they were to focus on academics and their potential roles as diplomatic wives. However, Aria was different from the other girls. She wanted to become a strong fighter like her brother, Winston. In Winston's spare time, he always trained Aria, even though it was against the family rules. He comforted and taught Aria everything he knew about swordsmanship, nurturing her fighting spirit and determination.

Ella Harrington

Ella is Aria's older sister and Winston's other sibling. Unlike Aria, who is spirited and determined, Ella has a fragile body and cannot use magic. Despite her physical limitations, Winston never left her alone; he always came to see her every time he finished his training with Aria. Ella loved reading and doing research, finding solace and strength in knowledge. She spent most of her time in the library, engrossed in books and studies.

Chloe

Chloe is Princess Fiora's personal knight and an old friend of Aria. She appears to be a far eastern girl from an island located in the east. Chloe is known for her loyalty and dedication to Princess Fiora, always staying by her side to ensure her safety. Despite her serious demeanor as a knight, she shares a special bond with Aria from their past friendship.

Claire Grey

Claire was engaged to Winston due to a family-arranged marriage. She only met Winston once when she was a child, and at that time, she saw him as a nice and quiet kid. However, everything changed when they grew up and met again. After the announcement of their engagement, Claire was hurt by the way Winston was treated and by his perceived change in behavior. Henry saw this as an opportunity to help her by winning the duel and stopping their engagement.

Henry Cormac

Henry Cormac was chosen as the sword hero by the goddess. He won the duel with Winston and released Claire from Winston's engagement. However, Henry always held a grudge against Winston, even before Winston became the strongest swordsman in the country. His resentment stemmed from being overshadowed by Winston; his crush dumped him because of Winston, even though Winston was never aware of who Henry's crush was, as he was busy with training all the time.

Henry's motive was to take every woman who was involved with Winston as his lover. He already succeeded in winning Claire after the duel and intended to pursue more of the women connected to Winston.

Xenon Harrington

Xenon Harrington is Winston's cousin. He is involved in a secret plan with Henry, suggesting deeper plots and conspiracies within the Harrington family.

Princess Fiora (Fiora Joustra)

Fiora is the youngest princess of the current ruler of the Joustra Dynasty. Being the youngest among her siblings, she often found herself alone in the castle. She spent most of her time in the royal library, where she met Winston, her first friend. They bonded over their shared love of books. When Winston's training with Fiora's brother, under Winston's father, was complete, the two promised to meet again after they achieved their goals. Fiora has always struggled with insecurity and low self-esteem. She often felt powerless and useless among her siblings, believing her voice was never heard. Despite these feelings, she was deeply loved by her parents.
