Unbeknownst to Darren, Paige's thoughts remained a mystery. He grinned with satisfaction upon hearing Paggie's response.

Slave owners, especially those with a valuable house-elf like Paggie, should find additional motivation. Darren wondered when Ollivander's payment would be handed over.

"Cough, Mr. Potter, it's time we discuss your wand." Ollivander patted his head with chagrin, realizing he had been too talkative.

Perhaps the forgetful house-elf had overlooked the matter without his reminder. Now, dividends for many years were due.

Grindelwald's revolution and magical creature monopoly had nearly shuttered Ollivander's wand shop. Ollivander, on the brink of destitution, had sold shares in the shop.

Fremont, flush with gold gallons from shampoo sales, had purchased ten percent of the shares with two thousand gallons.

After Fremont's acquisition, Grindelwald was defeated by Dumbledore, and the wand shop thrived once more.

Ollivander then had to send yearly payments to the Potter family until James Potter's death. By default, the Ollivander Wand Shop became Darren's private property.

Seeing Pachi, Ollivander regretted letting slip this information.

What luck! What fortune! Couldn't this Potter have shown some gratitude and mentioned the waived dividends over the years?

Feelings of affection for Darren plummeted. Ollivander cleared his throat and asked, "Which hand do you usually use?"

"Right hand," Darren replied nonchalantly. Losing so much Galleons would be disheartening for anyone.

A tape measure moved systematically over Darren, who found it oddly shy and evasive.

"Come, try this one. Nine and a third years long, made of poplar wood with a unicorn feather core. A trustworthy wand, powerful, and with consistent magic." Ollivander gushed about the wand.

Curious, Darren picked up the wand.

Though most people had to adapt to find the perfect wand, as soon as he touched it, colorful fireworks erupted.

"Great, obviously this one!" Ollivander praised and moved to wrap it up for Darren.

Darren stared at the wand in confusion. Did he really not need to try another one?

"Huh?" Just as Darren accepted the wand, Ollivander looked up in doubt. His gaze landed on another wand box.

"Wait, maybe you should try this wand. When you unleash your magic, it shakes a little." Ollivander presented another wand.

Darren took it doubtfully, and pink bubbles filled the room. "Fantastic, wonderful! I've never seen a wizard with two wands to choose from... Hey?"

Ollivander was stunned again. Thousands of wands in the shop were vibrating. Without magic applied to each box, they might have burst forth.

"Is something wrong?" Ollivander opened a box tentatively, and the wand inside eagerly reached for Darren's face.

Darren looked at Ollivander, and upon receiving a nod, carefully held the wand.

Crash! The soft mist filled the room, and every wisp seemed to encircle Darren.

"This..." Darren looked hesitantly at Ollivander.

Ollivander, feeling a little remorse for perhaps selling him the unsold wand to offset dividends, said, "Oh my God, it's amazing, it's amazing... Every wand here is saying they like you and want to be your partner.

The wands choose the wizard, and they want to embark on a great adventure with you."

Ollivander spoke with admiration, momentarily forgetting his concerns about share dividends. "That's it!" Darren scratched his head, watching the vibrations of so many wands. Hesitant, he didn't know which one to choose.

"Mr. Ollivander, can I take them all? I can use the Potter family's dividends over the years." If Ollivander had intended this, he would have won, and the Holy Father would not be able to resist surrendering to so many wands.

Thinking of so many wands emitting a chorus of thunderbolt explosions simultaneously, it seemed even more potent than Voldemort's Awada nibbling on a large melon.

"No, no, no, kid!" Ollivander's face turned green. Selling so many magic wands, his life's work, all at once would leave him empty-handed.

"Child, listen to me. Although you think you need so many wands, you don't actually need them. You only need one wand; believe me!" Ollivander spoke firmly.
