Like a fisherman who had sailed the vast ocean and lost his way, losing his path home, and getting lost in confusion and anxiety. Until one day, the fisherman saw an island that he had longed for and hoped for over days, even months. Now the fisherman's feelings, once filled with black clouds, turned into a bright day without a single cloud.
Like the fisherman's feelings, Ying's heart was now very happy with what lay before her. The sound of a baby's cries had become the most beautiful sound to her, the sweetest sound she had ever heard. It was truly a feeling that could not be felt by anyone who had not been in Ying's position.
Slowly, Ying's thin fingers touched the box with full love and tenderness, and she did not notice her tears of joy falling onto the box.
In a loving tone, with a soft and gentle voice, Ying then said, "Oh, what a beautiful night. The heavy rain that you poured upon this earth has now stopped, and after the rain came a very beautiful rainbow. But because of the blackness of the night that covered the rainbow, the rainbow did not show its beautiful colors. But now that rainbow has turned into a baby that I have long dreamed of. Oh night... You are so kind to those who always love you."
Xiang, who heard Ying's loving words, also unconsciously let his tears of happiness fall. Xiang said, "Now open the box, and kiss and treat that baby as if it were our own."
Ying, who had been gazing at the still-closed box from which the sound of a baby's cries emanated, looked at Xiang for a moment, nodded, and said, "Alright, my dear Xiang," with a broad smile.
Little by little, Ying opened the box, doing so with a feeling of love and calmness. Now the box was fully open, and the crying baby inside was revealed, with light shining from the baby's face. That light made Ying's heart and feelings soar, as if she were flying freely in the sky because of the tranquility she felt.
"Truly, an extraordinary baby. Even just by looking at it, I feel an incredible peace. Its face is like the full moon that comes after a storm, and the aura it emits is like energy that drives away all evil energy," Ying said while gazing at the baby.
"My dear Xiang, don't you want to hold it? Isn't my dear Xiang more worthy of being the first to touch and hold it?" Ying said in a soft and gentle tone.
"When I found the baby, I saw it clearly, and I held it, and I even discovered its secret," Xiang replied in a low tone. In truth, Xiang said this because he knew his wife, Ying, was eager to hold the baby, but because she respected him so much, she was willing to delay her happiness for her husband's sake.
After receiving Xiang's answer, Ying said, "Alright, now it's my turn to give it a touch of love and treat it with compassion."
Then Ying's thin hand slowly touched the baby's face and brushed the thin hair on the baby's head to the side. With Ying's loving touch, the baby immediately stopped crying, smiled slightly, and showed an expression full of happiness.
After seeing the baby's expression, Ying began to recite, "Oh night... A night full of blessings... A night full of joy... A night I have long awaited... Where have you been all this time... I always searched for your departure... I always awaited your arrival... And finally, now you have come... Your arrival heals all ailments... Your presence erases all suffering... And now, you, oh night, have given me a fruit that is sweeter and more delicious than any other fruit in this world, and no food surpasses the delight and pleasure of my feelings at this moment."
Xiang was very happy. Like a mirror reflecting everything in front of it, he now mirrored the feelings his wife was experiencing. For the true happiness Xiang felt was the happiness that resided in Ying's heart. And there was no pain greater than the pain he felt when he saw his wife sad.
"My dear wife, who is now filled with joy, surely you will be exceedingly happy when you see the baby's gender," Xiang said in a low, soft voice, his expression full of happiness.
"Oh my dear Xiang, do you already know the gender of this baby? And why do you say I will be exceedingly happy when I find out? Is this baby the one I have dreamed of and longed for all this time?" Ying said, her eyes unable to look away from the baby.
"That's why you should see for yourself with your beautiful eyes, so you will know without the intermediary of my words," Xiang replied.
It turned out that for more than ten years they had both dreamed the same dream, of having a baby boy.
For a moment, Ying placed the baby back into the box, then slowly she unwrapped the cloth that tightly covered the baby. And finally, the baby's gender was revealed.
"Oh, my beloved husband, there is no more beautiful anniversary gift than the one you have given me tonight. I never imagined that I would receive such an extraordinary anniversary gift. A million thanks could never express my gratitude. I love you so much, my husband," Ying said, her voice full of love.
"Oh yes, today is our wedding anniversary. It's been exactly eleven years since we got married, and I couldn't even afford to buy you a gift because of our poverty. But what incredible luck, it's as if nature itself wanted to celebrate our anniversary by giving us the best gift," Xiang said, full of gratitude.
"My dear Xiang, what name shall we give to this baby boy? Have you thought of a name? And if you have, may I know it? And may I suggest a name for our baby?" Ying asked, her expression full of hope.
Xiang said, "I haven't thought of a name for the baby yet. Tell me your thoughts on a name for the baby boy."
"How about Yiuyz, or Xyuis, or Ziuxzi, or Zingsyu, or what about Yixi?" Ying suggested, her expression full of happiness.
After hearing all of Ying's name ideas, Xiang suddenly thought of a good name.
Xiang said, "How about we name this baby boy Yinxing? A name taken from both of our names combined? Isn't that nice?"
"Hmmm... Yinxing, it sounds pretty good. Alright... From now on, we'll call him Yinxing, our baby," Ying said, holding the baby and lifting him into the air.
Yinxing responded with a smile and then urinated, wetting Ying's hand. It was his way of saying thank you to his parents.
