Chapter 67 - The Runic Room

The moon hung low in the night sky, casting a silvery glow upon the ancient forest. The trees stood sentinel, their gnarled branches reaching upward like skeletal fingers. Rin, a seasoned warrior, stood amidst the shadows, his senses attuned to every rustle of leaves and distant whisper.

Suddenly, from behind a massive oak, emerged a young teenage boy. His red hair framed his face like flames, and his pale skin seemed almost ethereal. His eyes held a dangerous glint, and a smirk played on his lips. He wore light black attire that blended seamlessly with the night, and a sword rested casually across his lap.

"There's no doubt," the boy declared, his voice dripping with arrogance. "As soon as I heard rumours about your team, I knew it was you, Rin."
