Canor was petrified, as mentioned earlier, he had the ability to perceive the combat ability of his opponents.
Lucas was a small dog, the silver knight that led the wardens was a lion and Moros, the demon of doom, he was something that shouldn't exist.
A patchwork of metal and stones, all held together by an inky black glue. Canor knew fighting him would be suicide.
Luckily, Eris had weakened him greatly, surviving her final attack had taken a lot out of him. Even if he was stronger, Canor now had a chance to flee.
Clutching his spear tightly, the older man muttered, "Dissonance..." The spear glowed in response, pulsing in acknowledgement to it's master.
As Moros kept forwards towards Eris, his stone claws outstretched, Canor threw his spear. Twirling threw the air, like bolt of lightning, it struck Moros in the shoulder, the anti-magic doing it's work.
Once a creature ascends, they become one with nature itself, and therefore magic, he had never tried before now but Moros was hoping the spear would have some kind of effect
And luckily for the red scorpion it did, the shadows that wrapped around him faded, the moving stone turning solid once again, Moros, who had dropped his physical form in exchange for more fighting power was now feeling the adverse effects.
Taking advantage of the situation, Canor rushed to his master, who allowed herself to be picked up and carried, and then fled. Hoping that Moros would stay down for enough time to let them escape.

As Adara and Lucas reached the large gate thatvled to their exit, Adara felt conflicted, she was hoping the fact that Lucas was a lunatic would interest Hypnos enough to not kill him, but...
Well Hypnos was never the kind of person to be interested is things like that, Adara still remembered when he complimented the "color of her soul", what ever that means.
Throwing a glance backwards at Lucas, his blue eyes already matching her gaze she grimaced. Perhaps it was stupid to request Lucas staying at the fortress.
Looking last him, at the ruined city, still slumberinghe decided that it was a better alternative. The power struggle between Eris and Moros may have come to an end. But the scorpions still held order, in their own twisted way.
She knew that the city would become a battlefield over the coming years, one that Lucas may very well not survive.
Turning back to the ride in front of her, Adara looked at the heavy iron gate blocking her from leaving. She remembered of course, the guards signalling to open it when they entered.
"I'm going into that watchtower there," explained Adara pointing at the one on the left side of the gate, "you wait here, lead Anox through when it's open,"
Lucas raised saluted in mock millatatism, "Ma'am, Yes ma'am!" A small smile on his face, despite the somber atmosphere.
He watched as she left, before turning and looking at the view behind him... Numerous buildings were destroyed in the clash between the two factions and their masters, and the once raging crowds were now all sleeping peacefully.
He loves this world, it was disgustingly beautiful.
Suddenly, he felt a sudden force hitting his back, rolling as he hit the floor, he looked up to see a warden, dressed in black armour.
The warden, clad in black armor, pinned Lucas to the ground, preparing to deliver a punishing blow. As the warden's clenched fist descended towards Lucas's face, Lucas's instincts kicked in.
In a swift and desperate move, he snatched a nearby rock from the ground. With a surge of adrenaline, Lucas swung the rock and struck the warden across the side of the head. The unexpected blow caught the warden off guard, causing him to stumble back and release his grip on Lucas.
Lucas didn't let him go, rolling on top of him he went to bring the sharp rock again on the wardens helm.
But it was futile, a knight of Moros would naturally be trained, and he was not going to let some weeabo beat him in a fistfight.
Catching Lucas's wrist he punched him with the other hand, sending him recoiling backwards.
The warden stood, his true height revealing him to look like a mountain. But Lucas, who was on the ground had met eyes with the Angel behind it.
He stared at the warden, a confident grin on his face. He knew he had won, after all, it was just about buying time when he had such a competent ally.
"Say cheese, asshole,"
The warden followed Lucas's gaze but it was too late, a thing, concentrated beam of light pierced cut throuhh the black armour, piercing his liver.
The warden rolled in pain a scream escaping his lips, Adara fired again, this time it cut threw his upper leg, she frowned, obviously not pleased with her accuracy.
Shrugging, she drew her knife and slit his throat, silencing him.
"Say cheese?" Asked Adara, turning to Lucas.
"Ah right, you guys haven't got cameras here..." Said Lucas standing to his feet. "It's just something people I'm from say when taking a picture, I thought it was smart considering the whole light thing you've got going."
Nodding, despite being even more confused, Adara offered Lucas a hand ah he climbed on the horse, she jumped in front of him just after he had settled.
