The wall of soldiers parted and they saw who they were guarding. It was one of the robed figures they were seeing on the wall, it was a female but she stopped as tall as the men.
She carried no weapons that they could see but Belialthorn knew she must be a mage. He had seen her repair the barrier before. She did it just yesterday.
Another ten ordinary soldiers closed in behind them, and together. They began walking toward them.
"Trouble," That said.
Indeed, Belialthorn nodded. This was far more than he thought would happen. He knew there must be a strong one out there but he didn't know there would be several more powerful than his Captains.
Belialthorn miscalculated. How could it let this happen? He knew the yellow people were coming to put pressure on him. Negotiations are based on the fact that the two parties are equal. Not when one has the upper hand.
