But they did as he commanded, they picked up their weapon. Belialthorn went for the slender short sword and Alaric for the longer one. Of course, Rota went for the spear.
Belialthorn held his weapon up for inspection, it was light as a dry stick but he could see the strength in it.
"But how are we supposed to fight like this? We have no mana! Even our strength have been greatly reduced. We....we're humans!" Rota waved her sword for emphasis.
"It's your choice, do you want to earn your food or will you go hungry?" Cook asked. "It's not like you need food now do you?"
Rota's stomach grumbling, said otherwise. So she leveled her spear with both hands until it was parallel with her sight. "So what are we fighting?"
"Me," Cook said and unhooked her kitchen knife. It was long like a normal short sword but it was designed as a kitchen knife, with a thick handle. "It's been a while since I held this for a fight."
