They were all stunned into silence.

"Ben! Ben!" Liam shouted and activated his skill, he tried to flash walk something dark pierced his neck, and he staggered like a drunk as if all his strength was suddenly taken away.
His hand went to his neck and came off with a black thorn. He slowly turned to Eldric. "What are you doing?" He demanded.
Eldric put down the hand that he used to flick the thorn and studied Liam and Noah calmly. "We don't know what's going on and until we do you all should not make unnecessary mistakes."
