"What are you talking about," Belialthorn asked, deathly still. Was the assassination the work of the Hunter's Association and the Holy Church?
"Don't pretend like you don't know," Percival grunted. "It's useless to do so especially now that the Inquisitors have caught on to it."
Rota gasped and Belialthorn looked at her in surprise. "Who are the Inquisitors?" He demanded.
"They are the special units of the Hunter's Association that hunt criminal Hunters. I heard they are all high-level." Rota gripped her spear tight. She had also heard about the horrors committed by the Inquisitors.
"So they were there when we were fighting," Belialthorn said, it was getting clear now. "But they didn't interfere."
"Their job is to investigate and contain criminal Hunters. Not meddle in petty fights " Percival said.
"Petty fight that led to the death of two Hunters," Belialthorn said.
