Rota shouldn't have been surprised that the mountain Lilly finally got her address, when the next day, during breakfast. The Magistrate came in with a letter that was addressed directly to Alaric and Rota.
"Surprise, surprise," Alaric said dryly. He waved the envelope in front of Rota. "This is an invitation from Lilly. They said they would welcome us tomorrow. That we should use the same method to reach them. I thought you said no one followed you "
Rota frowned. She did think that she had shaken off all the spies that trailed her. This mean that someone managed to follow her to this castle? She found that very hard to believe but then again. The Mountain Lilly was the biggest crime organization in Havenbrook.
"Well," she returned just as flatly but with a twinkle in her eyes. "I said I didn't see anyone follow me. But my skill at shaking them off must need more work."
