I still have a Hobgoblin left and an Ogre. If I take out the Hobgoblin first I should be able to level up enough to be on equal standing with that Ogre. I activate Swift and dash the Hobgoblin. Right as I got next to the Hobgoblin I could see a streak of lightning being absorbed by a shield the Majin was carrying. The Majin was bloodied but still had a confident glint in its eyes. My dad seemed to be uninjured. I went to stab the Hobgoblin who had almost fully recovered from my sword slashing off its leg already. I struck down at the Hobgoblin who barely leaped back suffering a small cut on its face. The Ogre got close and swung at me and as I leaped to the side spat flames at me. This attack caught me off guard but I punched through it with a manablast ice constantly out putting this attack until my fist closed the Ogre's mouth and upon taking this punch the Ogre kneed me in the stomach sending me up to its face level. The Ogre grabbed me by the head and began to squeeze. This was incredibly painful so I performed a slash as hard as I could to the elbow and I got about halfway in causing the Ogre to Shriek in pain. Right as I hit the ground the Hobgoblin attempted to smash me into meat paste which was easily avoided with a side step as I slashed up and cleanly lopped his head off. Congratulations you have leveled up x2.
I braced myself as I knew an attack was inevitable. The Ogre hit me but it wasn't a clean hit so I slid back a few feet and darted towards the Ogre. Once I got to the Ogre it swung wide so I slid under the Ogre's legs performing a slash to the back of a knee in passing spinning to my feet and slashing the other knee causing the Ogre to fall I then used my nature magic to pin the Ogre down to cleanly Lob off the Ogre's head. Congratulations you have leveled up x3.
Evolution to base is available Yes/No I said heck yeah. Commencing evolution. I could feel my body breaking and rebuilding this process was painful but it was over in an instant but to me, it felt like hours. Congratulations new ability unlocked Firestorm and Blink. I felt the power rushing through my veins. I didn't feel like the same person as before I could tell that an Ogre was not even close to being my match as I am now. I looked up at my father's fight and it looked clearer I could follow more movements than before. I could see the rapid abilities being put on display. My dad has a dash ability he uses where he turns into lightning zapping the Majin appearing in his blind spot but the Majin has sharp reflexes and doesn't let the pain from the Lightning distract him. My dad looks at me and shouts burn this into your memory son this is what power looks like. My dad said Lightning Emperor mode overdrive. Dance of the Thundergod. This attack was beautiful and horrifying. I witnessed a lightning Dragon come out of the sky and slam into the Majin clearing out all the trees nearby. Nothing was left but a burning crisp outline of the Majin and a few sparks of electricity.
My dad used his lightning teleport ability to me. He caused me to jump a little because I wasn't expecting that. My dad looked at me and said I'm so proud of you. I wanted you to see that last attack so I stalled when I realized you might be able to take them on. I honestly did not expect you to beat all of them. My original plan was to dispatch the Majin quickly and allow you to face the beast 1 on 1. Everything turned out for the best and you've gained valuable experience. I can't believe you're already at base evolution. All I could do was thank my father. We can rest for now. My father said you must be exhausted after a fight like that. I shook my head in affirmation. I looked at my father and I didn't need to say anything. I just knew that my dad was a man I could look up to. It's easy to see why so many people follow him. I looked at my dad and said what rank are you? He said I am currently at the peak of the 2nd evolution also known as The elite. My requirement to evolve is that I defeat a beast at the Superior stage. I believe the Goblin King will be strong enough to allow me to evolve. This is a large part of why a lot of people can't evolve. The gaps in power are so great between each evolution that it feels impossible. Even harder to meet a creature with such a standing.
I looked at my dad and said, "What is your goal?" My dad smiled and said now that is a secret a man must have some mysteries for himself right? I said I suppose you're right. My dad looked at me and said do you know what you want to do yet? You're performing well at the academy. If you continue on that path many doors will open before you. Not to mention all the connections you would have built. I looked at my dad and said there are a lot of things I still don't know yet. My dad laughed and smacked me on the back. You're still young and don't owe too much focus on this world's problems yet. My dad said strength is pointless without a purpose and you're going to be strong my son. Take your time finding your purpose.
