As Christian wakes up in the unfamiliar surroundings of the Night Star Hotel in Nampula, he takes a moment to orient himself. Thanks to his father Salvador Ngale, who used to take Christian to every hotel they own, Christian doesn't feel lost. He's been in countless hotels before, each with its own unique layout and atmosphere, but the sense of familiarity and comfort that comes from years of experience in the hospitality industry helps him feel at ease.
As he lays in bed, Christian's mind drifts back to a time when he was just 15 years old, sitting in his father's office as Salvador imparted his wisdom about the family business. "One day, Christian, all of this will be yours," Salvador had said, gesturing to the sprawling hotel empire they had built together.
