As the delicious meal comes to an end, Mr. Ngale leans back in his chair, a contemplative expression crossing his face. With a knowing look, he turns to Christian, his tone serious yet laced with amusement.
He leans forward, his voice hushed as he addresses Christian. "Son, ever since you mentioned having a girlfriend to your mother, she's been preoccupied with thoughts about her social standing. I fear she may be contemplating a scheme, though I'm yet to fathom its nature. Be wary of her intentions."
Christian raises an eyebrow, intrigued by his father's cryptic words. "What do you mean, Dad?" He asks, a note of curiosity in his voice.
Mr. Ngale leans in closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "She's been dropping hints about some sort of plan she has in mind," he says, shaking his head with a bemused expression. "But she hasn't let me in on the details yet."
