"Die!" the Cyclops with the club yelled as he charged, swinging the club. Jakob rolled underneath it, threw the Leviathan Axe which struck the Cyclops' right arm and caused it to hold the club with one hand for the moment. Meanwhile, Jakob charged at the other Cyclops as it tried to stomp him but he avoided it's stomps and leaped, delivering a punch into it's stomach before he kicked off and grabbed onto the other Cyclops. Recalling the Leviathan Axe, Jakob brought the axe down into the Cyclops' shoulder first, and then reared back to strike the eye when he was pulled off by the other Cyclops.
"Watch out!" Mimir shouted before the Cyclops slammed Jakob into the ground repeatedly, the back of Jakob's head smacking off the ground hard which caused his vision to blur and darken fr a few seconds before he shook it off as adrenaline and lightning coursed through him.
"Enough!" Jakob roared letting out a shockwave of lightning which caused the Cyclops to drop him. Landing on his feet, Jakob blasted the first Cyclops right in it's one eye with a beam of lightning, then whirled around and fired two more powerful beams of lightning at the other Cyclops just as it raised the club to smash him like one of those Whack-a-mole game machines in arcades. The Cyclops soon dissolved into golden dust, leaving only the now blind Cyclops that was clutching at it's eye with whimpers of pain.
'Time to end this.' Jakob thought, shaking off a brief moment of blurry vision before he recalled the Leviathan Axe to him, reared back as the blade became encased in ice, before he threw it and the axe struck the Cyclops in the head, causing it to become encased in ice just before the Cyclops toppled over. The impact of it's ice-encased head hitting the ground caused it to shatter into pieces, and the body dissolved into golden dust soon afterwards.
Jakob recalled the Leviathan Axe with a sigh before he stumbled a step when his vision blurred again, and the back of his head flared in pain.
"Oh..." Jakob groaned, putting a hand against a tree to steady himself.
"You alright, brother?" Mimir asked, concerned.
"I'm... fine." Jakob said before he groaned again as he pushed himself off the tree only to stumble a few more steps, unaware of how close he was to the cliff edge... but Mimir wasn't.
"Jakob! Watch out for the-" Mimir was unable to finish his warning as Jakob missed a step and slipped off the edge, falling towards the river below.
The last thing Jakob felt was the sensation of falling before the feeling of hitting something cold and wet...
~~~~~~~
Damn... feels like I got trampled by a dragon with how my head's feeling.' Jakob thought with a mental groan as he stirred from unconsciousness and back into the land of the living. His eyes slowly opened, then blinked open and he found himself staring up at the ceiling of an unfamiliar place, and then he instantly remembered that he had not been in a building before he went unconscious.
So where the Hel was he?
Jakob sat up with a quiet groan and rubbed the back of his head, then rolled his shoulders and neck before he glanced around, seeing he was in some kind of infirmary. He also saw he wasn't alone, as a unconscious girl laid in the bed next to his own, beng tended to and spoon-fed something by a girl with curly blonde hair.
"Brother!"
Jakob looked over upon hearing Mimir's voice, finding the head placed on a table that the Leviathan Axe was leaning against. Mimir's shout also startled the blonde-haired girl and she stood up, whirling around in surprise and Jakob got a good look at her.
She was the same age as him, with curly blonde hair, had a athletic-looking body. and captivating storm grey eyes that shined with curiosity and intelligence. Her attire consisted of black boots, navy blue jeans, an orange shirt with "Camp Half-Blood" on it and a pegasus, and a grey jacket over it. She also had a necklace, with several clay beads and a college ring on it.
"You're awake!" The girl said as she went to approach, but Jakob recalled the Leviathan Axe to him and held it up warningly which made her stop in her tracks.
"Jakob, don't!" Mimir cut in before things could turn hostile. "The young lass there found you unconscious on the shore of the lake. She brought you here alongside another, though there was quite a few questions asked, and I agreed to answer them only when you've awoken."
Jakob, trusting Mimir's word the most, grunted and lowered the Axe before hooking it through one of his belt loops and gave Annabeth a small nod. "Thank you... for helping me, I guess."
"Don't mind him, lassie." Mimir said apologetically. "Jakob here doesn't trust people he doesn't know, prefers keeping them at arms' length in case they backstab him."
"Mimir..." Jakob warned.
Annabeth nodded in understanding. "It's completely understandable. I know what it's like to not trust any stranger, but I hope you realize we don't mean you any harm."
Jakob's eyes narrowed. "Where am I, anyway?"
"I'll let Chiron answer your questions." Annabeth said and gestured for him to follow. "Come on, I'll take you too him. I doubt Andromeda there will wake up anytime soon, but Grover will bring her to us once she does."
Jakob glanced at the unconscious girl before he grabbed Mimir's head and clipped him to the back of his hip before following the blonde-haired girl out of the infirmary.
'Wait, her shirt said Camp Half-Blood on it, and there's only one... oh dammit.' Jakob thought with a silent groan as he realized where he was. Jakob had read and learned everything there is to know about the other pantheons, including the Olympians, and Odin had mentioned that they even had a camp for their demigod children, although Odin's ravens could not go through the barrier for risk of being detected by the Olympians. If this really was Camp Half-Blood... then it seems Jakob will be under watch by the Olympians and back into godly affairs once more.
The Norns hate him.
