Jack somehow managed to survive. Maybe it was because he was younger. Maybe it was because he was still holding onto a tiny thread of hope. Whichever it was, he dodged punches, and blocked stabs. At one point, he almost landed a deadly stab to the gut, but his attacker blocked it last minute, and delivered a kick to the head. Jack stumbled back, panting, clutching the knife tightly in his hand. What could he do? Every blow he tried to land was blocked and so was every stab. There was no weak point in this guy's defense game. Weak point.....aha! Jack knew what he had to do. His attacker ran at him, and slashed downward, but Jack blocked the dagger. "You won't win, I'm warning you, Jack! You'll die here!" He decided he needed to do it now. So, he drew one leg back, and kicked upward, hitting his target perfectly. The guy grunted, and fell to the ground, temporarily distracted. This gave Jack enough time to run away, toward the front, panting. He knew the kidnapper would find him. It was only a matter of time. Until then, he could regain some-someone landed next to him, and he jumped back, holding the knife to his chest. "You'll really wish you hadn't done that to my partner." All he could see was a black shadow, which came at him with punches and kicks, only landing a few every two minutes. Then, he heard the roar of an engine, and nearly exploded with happiness. But he continued to fight. Until a kick sent him flying backwards, and his back hit the wall, every part of his body exploding in pain. "Jack!" The voice sounded a million miles away, but he knew who it was. "O-Oliver." He choked out, after Oliver removed the gag. He tried to prop himself up on his hands, and failed. His body was too exhausted. He was in too much pain. "Don't try to move, ok? You'll only make it worse. I can take him on." Jack coughed. "W-wait. There.....there's two....of them." "Two? That shouldn't be a problem for me. But stay right here, and don't move, the police and an ambulance are coming. Just hold on." Those were the last words he remembered hearing before darkness took him.
