Fred was already done dressing up when my mom entered his room. He was more than excited to go out given the social butterfly that he is.
As for his outfit, I won't tell you all what it looked like because he ended up looking way better than me after my mom added some finishing touches to his outfit.

After lunch, we were on our way to the party. My dad drove us all to the party in his car even though the place wasn't far.
We got there, and my parents went to greet the celebrant and his parents. They also gave him a gift.
I sat down in a corner with my brother and held him tightly lest he runs off to the other kids and leaves me all alone. I looked around the sitting room while the adults conversed among themselves.
There were no decorations, and no music was playing in the background. It didn't look like a birthday party to me except for a huge Super Mario cake placed on a table in the middle of the sitting room.
After a while, we all sang songs for the celebrant and he cut his cake after blowing off the candles on his cake.
"Children, please can you all go outside? We have a little surprise for you all," Mr Stan's wife said as she addressed us.
All the children there screamed with joy except for me. I wasn't interested in the party. I just wanted to go home and sleep.
We all went outside and there was a bus waiting to take us to an amusement park. We all boarded the bus and left for the park, leaving the adults behind to have their party.
***********************
We soon got to the amusement park and there was a space rented out for the party. We ate the cake from the birthday party and drank juice before we all went out to play. Fred also ran off to play with his friends, leaving me behind.
Mr. Stan's wife and two other women whose children were also there with us came along to the amusement park to keep an eye on us.
I got on the merry-go-round and after playing there, I went to the slide. I wanted to explore other fun things in the amusement park, but we weren't allowed to do so because most of the children there with us were below seven years old.
I played on the slide for a while and got bored because I had no one to play with.
As I sat down there at the slide, someone suddenly hit me on my back. It was so painful that I turned back immediately to see who it was that hit me.
"Who hit me?" I asked angrily to no one in particular.
I sat down again, and again the person hit me again, this time on my head. I turned quickly and saw Katie laughing at me.
Immediately, my anger vanished as I stood up and went to her.
"Katie, what are you doing here?
"Did you come here with your parents?" I asked her.
"We came for the birthday party but we were late. When we got to the house, we were told that you guys were already here. My dad now had to drive us to this place before leaving," Katie explained.
"Are the twins here?" I asked her.
"Yes, they are already playing with your brother and their other friends." She pointed in the direction of the boys.
"I know you were bored playing on your own but don't worry, I am here now." Katie smiled as she beat her chest.
"Tcch, who needs you?" I sneered.
"I was having fun all by myself before you came."
"Hmmph, I know you were bored. That's why you were sitting all alone here."
"Come, let's go and play on the merry-go-round," Katie said as she pulled me along with her.
Although I had been on the merry-go-round three times now, It felt more fun with Katie around. I was very happy and I started enjoying the outing.
We played on the slide before we went to the bouncy castle to play. I objected because I felt I was past the age to be playing in the bouncy castle.
"Do you think you are an adult just because you are eleven?" Katie asked as she tried to convince me to play with her in the bouncy castle.
I finally agreed and went to the bouncy castle to play. No one stopped us as the area was open to us. I really enjoyed myself.
After running around and playing for a while, we were called to eat. We went to watch a 5D movie in the amusement park's Cinema.
It was fun-filled for us. I didn't get the name of the movie, but it felt as if we were in an aeroplane with the characters in the movie.
We wore special glasses to watch the movie. Fred and I tried removing the glasses to know what would happen. We found out that we couldn't watch the movie without it.
Before we began watching the movie, the attendants there helped us to fasten the seat belts on the chair and to put on our glasses. They also told us to call them if anyone of us felt too afraid to watch the movie.
The movie began and many of us were screaming because it felt so real. Whenever the aeroplane met with a waterfall, water splashed on us. It later changed to a train moving on a scary underground track with ghosts and animals showing up before it passed underground and went up a hill and went down the hill before it finally arrived at the train station before the characters alighted and the movie ended.
Most of us screamed throughout the movie but I enjoyed the feeling and screamed in excitement.
By the time we finished watching the movie, our parents were already in the amusement park waiting for us and the party continued. There were dancing competitions and games.
"Won't you join them in the dance?" Katie asked as she tapped me on the shoulder.
"Won't you also join them?" I also asked her.
"There's a price for the winner."
"You know I can't dance but you can dance," Katie replied.
We both sat down there watching other children dancing and judging them. A boy in our neighbourhood emerged as the winner. He danced so well.
I even overheard some parents saying that he danced like Michael Jackson.
