Lucia had gone back home after the day, it was an eye opening experience.

I was currently in the training grounds, today is the day I start cultivating and becoming stronger.

What a weird name I made my cultivation to be, but thanks to making the two previous arts being my guide I made this.
I know this is a powerful art but I've only made 1 part of it and it will be weak, its as if It'll only be weak for now so I have to supplement it with other arts.
I meditated in accordance to what I read from
The Heavenly Demon arts, then I gathered mana from the surrounding area.
As Mana entered my body, I began puryfying my body.
Impurities began rushing out of my body, though I could smell it it wasn't that bad.
It took me almost two hours to be cleansed, the pain from purifying my body is not that much.
"Good, now that my body has been purified I now need to train my body."
Training wasn't new to me, I trained for another two hours and I was pleasantly surprised.
Puryfing my body felt like my whole body has reached another level.
"Young Master, the bath is ready."
Noel arrived, I followed after him and cleaned myself.
"Did father approve?"
"He wants to meet you."
I nodded after getting my clothes changed, when I arrived at his office.
"What do you want?"
He was reading documents, it was not a strange sight as I was used to it he also didn't like beating around the bush.
"I want to hire a paladin and a dark mage."
"Alright, young, retired or what?"
"I want them old enough yet not strong, I just want them to show me the basics of their magic."
"So you're training magic now instead of the sword?"
"I feel like I've reached what I can for the sword, only real battle can elevate it hence I want to practice magic."
I told my father what I clearly want, unless I'm in real battle and gain experience there's a limit to practicing monotonously can do.
"Why not raid dungeons?"
"I refuse, for now."
"Alright, I'll find you candidates that you want, is that all?"
"Yes father."
He nodded continued reading.
Paladins weren't hard to find retired ones were easy to locate since they want to earn money yet at the same time find a random prodigy on the street hoping they trained the future hero.
As for Dark mages, as long as you give them money they'll do anything, Dark Magic isn't banned just looked downed upon.
But I don't care, its not as if I'm a monster plus most of the criminal mages aren't from the Dark Tower but rather other towers.
"Young Master, Sir Aaron has arrived."
Noel told me when I came out, I then followed after him.
When I arrived at the training ground, Noel threw a pouch of gold at him.
"This is more than enough."
Sir Aaron picked up the pouch and had a huge grin on his face.
"Bring your family over here to stay at my estate, they'll be well protected and will be well provided as well."
"That's bot a bad idea but what do you want."
"Train me, be my punching bag until I beat you, even after that your family can stay here and you do what you want."
I asked the man who was infamous for dual wielding, I just want to learn the basics of using it as well as fighting of course
"But you're going to the academy in four years?"
"Doesn't matter, I want you to train me as if I'm fighting for my life, The Academy can't teach that type of simulation."
Sir Aaron had scar on his face coupled with the weird smile he gave somehow it bothered me.
"Alright, I can see you've trained well but why the sudden change in your routine?"
"I suddenly had an itch that I want to dual wield swords."
"Dual wielding huh, its not that common buts its not easy either, care showing me why?"
I nodded, Noel then took out two swords and I took one each for one hand.
I then imbued my Mana onto the swords, it was a crude method from what I've deduced.
"Oh, two affinities and you're imbuing mana into it, and you're not even enhancing it with Aura too, this is a pretty rare sight."
Coming from the man who had been to wars and fought against demons It was a pretty interesting comment.
Of course Sir Aaron had his fare share of struggles on why he was no longer in the army its up to him if he wants to share it or not.
"Alright I accept we'll start with training your body, your body needs to be flexible and fast."
"We'll start next week I still have tons to do for the week."
"Alright, I'll come with my family I hope everything is prepared by then."
I nodded, He waved goodbye as he quitely left.
"Noel, please prepare for the things needed, I have to meditate for now, as for tomorrow well just guide Lucia to where I am."
Noel nodded and I continued meditating, I wonder how Lucia was doing right now.
As Alfred thought of Lucia, Lucia on the other hand was deep in her thoughts
"Alfred already has a goal."
She thought about it deeply, she was surprised, it wasn't a joke to say that she had realized that she had been childish even though she could afford to be.
"To be strong enough to protect the ones he loves, yet here I am wanting to leave just for myself."
She admitted that she was selfish and that she didn't want to be like a bird stuck in a cage, she yearned for freedom, adventure and romance.
"But, why do I feel guilty suddenly?"
She continued talking to herself, Lucia who had always been thinking of ways how to escape the responsibility suddenly felt angst.
"What do I really want? If its freedom father never really told me what I should do."
Right her father had been considerate he could have forced her to marry Alfred immediately yet they were given five years to sort out the matter.
Never once had her father told her to do what she should do other than going to parties and such.
As for her responsibilities, there were none, it was always her father who did everything by himself.
Suddenly Lucia realized why her father was always busy and never had time for her.
"Maybe its time I face reality."
She said, she didn't train in magic or swordsmanship she was just waiting, hoping, praying that her life would turn around.
"Martha."
"Young mistress."
"Is it too late for me to learn?"
"Its never too late Young Mistress."
"Alright, please plot my schedule I'm sure you've heard my rumblings."
"As you will."
Lucia said as she stood up.
"Please tell my father I want to meet him."
Martha nodded, and disappeared.
"If I want to have the life that I want, then its time for me to face my responsibilities."
As Lucia said that and her determination rose Alfred on the other hand.
