Chapter 4 - the imaginer

The year 1695 from the Cambion calendar.

In a beautiful forest, composed of towering trees with branches reaching towards the sky, mixed with various colors formed by the leaves of the trees and wildflowers. Light filters through the gaps in the branches, creating a charming tableau of light and shadow. The air is filled with the vitality of bird songs, while the sound of rivers and waterfalls gently mingle with the rustle of the wind.

"Damn, I'm really hungry, the feeling of hunger is truly terrifying for ordinary humans, I forgot about this feeling," Elven walked through the forest, searching for an exit. "I've missed croissants from now on."

Elven looked at the green forest in front of him.

"It's good that this is just an ordinary forest, if it were a forest inhabited by native monsters, I wouldn't guarantee my safe exit."

Thinking of the potential danger, Elven touched his forehead, feeling the circular protrusion in the middle of his forehead.

He had previously noticed that he had a protrusion on his head and the upper part of his chest, or in other words, his heart, which made him think that the owner of this body had died from being shot.

"The protrusion is gradually healing and disappearing. I wonder if this is also the work of the clock?"

Elven couldn't think further about it before he heard the sound of branches breaking nearby.

Elven quickly hid in one of the small bushes, wary of what might happen.

Directly in front of him, a large brown bear appeared, exploring its surroundings.

'It seems that the animals have caught my scent. Well, my scent currently resembles that of a corpse anyway.'

Elven looked around and found some mud on the ground, then proceeded to smear himself with it.

"This way, this bear won't be able to sense my scent temporarily.Mud may dry quickly, so I need to hurry too."

Elven tossed some mud on the other side of the bear. The bear heard a strange sound and decided to investigate its source by heading towards it.

Elven moved stealthily and flexibly through the intertwined trees, avoiding making any sound that could alert the bear to his presence. He approached slowly towards the huge bear wandering in the forest. He kept his breathing calm and movements precise, trying not to provoke the animal.

Elven remained calm and focused on his goal. He paused for a moment to determine the best moment to attack, and when he saw a suitable opportunity, he swiftly pounced on the bear with force, attempting to grab hold of it and forcefully bring it to the ground before it could defend or escape.

Elven managed to grasp the bear tightly, but the bear began to become active and rebellious, trying with all its might to free itself from his grip.

Elven felt immense pressure coursing through his body with every movement from the bear, but he held on with determination and strength. Elven exploited the weaknesses in the bear's body, striking it with all his might and attempting to pin it to the ground.

The bear attacked with its claws and used its immense strength in an attempt to break free. The fight continued violently, with each blow and movement exchanged between Elven and the bear. Elven sustained numerous superficial scratches on his body, yet he continued to attack the beast.

Finally, after a fierce battle, Elven managed to bring the bear down to the ground and maintained his control over it until he made sure it didn't move.

The bear lost consciousness. Elven succeeded in defeating the monster and is now wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"This was really difficult, who would have expected me, an imaginary, imagining a degree seven, against just a wild animal," Elfen sighed as he looked at the unconscious bear.

But the question is, what makes Elfen say that? Or rather, what is the imaginary?

The imaginary, as the name implies, is the person who can turn imagination into reality.

The imaginary is the person who can break the system's constraints imposed on him.

The imaginary is the person who can manipulate the laws as he pleases.

The imaginary who possesses the power of imagination, the greatest power of all.

There are 7 directions for the imaginations, directions that they can develop if they break their limits, namely: hunting, medicine, art, industry, education,Judgment, and science.

Hunting: The ability to hunt anything and the strongest physical power.

Medicine: The ability to know all diseases and how to treat them.

Art: The ability to creatively express beauty and emotions through creativity.

Industry: The ability to make anything or everything.

Education: The ability to transfer knowledge and skills from one generation to another.

Judgment: The ability to make fair decisions for others.

Science: The ability to study phenomena and scientific discoveries.

The imaginations of these directions can be named specialists, they are: the hunter, the doctor, the artist, the engineer, the teacher, the ruler, and the scientist.

In each direction, there are some sub-specialties, for example, industry has the sub-specialty of mechanic, blacksmith, and so on.

Each of the seven directions has its own unique and distinctive abilities, each direction of imaginations has 7 degrees of development, and there are two more degrees after the seventh degree, but they are different from the first seven degrees.

And when the imaginary develops his specialty to a certain degree, he will gain unlimited power and knowledge.

In the end, imagination is just something the current human age has not reached yet, and the goal of the imaginary is to reach that age.

Elfen was an imaginary in the industry direction, his main specialty was engineering, which he developed to the seventh degree, making him famous all over the continent.

*Gurgling*

"I'm really hungry," Elfen thought out loud, looking at the bear lying on the ground.

Elfen gathered wood, straw, and charcoal from the forest to light the fire, then he ignited it.

He prepared a place for grilling by placing stones in a circle and placing the fire in the middle.

After that, Elfen cut the bear meat and put it on long sticks he made from sturdy branches, securing them above the fire. He then regularly stirred and flipped the meat to ensure even cooking.

"Though it's not a croissant, it'll do the trick," Elfen enjoyed his first meal in his new life.
