As the next morning arrived one can see the priestess humming a tune from the olden times while hanging linens and bedsheet to dry them afterward she went directly to the kids sleeping quarters and open the blinds signalling the kids who were sleeping that the next morning has came.
Caiz slowly woken up as the sunlight shined to his face and murmured quietly as possible "status"

Seeing that my strength and vitality has risen by quite a few I immediately tested them and did a number of push-up and as soon as I hit 10 repetition a quest window has instantly appeared, and it took me by surprise

Since I was planning for the day to improve my strength and vitality by doing some endurance workout but this is much better, after all being rewarded after working hard is the best. It would seem I wouldn't be able to focus on strength as the reward is random
I proceeded in my new routine and did what the quest portrayed, hitting 15 on a push-up was hard and I stopped at 12/15 and decided to do the other workout to rest my arms a bit however as soon as I started 1 rep of squats the 12/15 in push-up went down to 11/15, it seems I can't cheat my way to the quest so I proceeded doing a push-up instead until I reached the goal, after reaching 15/15 a small message box appeared rewarding my effort

Some kids in the orphanage has noticed what Caiz have been doing that morning and few of them started copying him, of-course all that tried have failed and gave up and played amongst themselves right after. The priestess on the other hand have been observing Caiz secretly while doing her daily chores, one could see her jotting down some text on a small note hidden in one of her pockets.
A bell rang and breakfast has been served out of the 12 kids, Caiz who was there first hurriedly finished his food as quickly as possible and told the priestess that he would be out for a while exploring the town, priestess nodded in response and left with a smile on her face and headed to pray at the church altar
Caiz commence surveying the town he is currently living in, He couldn't determine the exact timeline his world is currently in. As he was looking around houses that looked mid 1800's are there and a few well built cemented house with thick window glass. Technologies are also everywhere such as a fridge and what it looks like a propane stove, haven't seen any phone yet even at church no one has any of those or maybe we are just too far away from civilization, I wouldn't be able to tell until I go for exploring and speaking of exploring since this world is an another world I need to look out for a building that looks like a guild from isekai'd trope anime.
As Caiz was walking to the town, he saw that the whole land was enclosed inside a cemented wall that can be seen on top of the cliff at the direction where the center square is located. Stores like the general store, healers place and the bank are also surrounding the central square and along the pathway towards the northern area a large building can be seen with a sign of two sword with a book on top of it. As Caiz entered the building, he got excited at how real it is. Lots of people are armed to the brim with cold weapons and different kind of armours can be seen busying themselves. He walked passed the tables and chairs and went toward a person behind the desk to ask for information.
Caiz:
-Hello Sir! what business does this building do, if you don't mind me asking?
The man promptly replied we obtain request from everyone in town or outside of town and post it at the bulletin board where adventurers gather and find work to earn cash for their livelihood

That's right young lad!, This is the Shatter-sword guild, how about you, are you interested in joining this guild?, of-course we need to evaluate your capabilities before allowing you to join, are you in? says by the man behind the desk
Caiz immediately answered the man as confident as he can be with a "yes please sir!", everyone watching the encounter now wanted to see what the kid has to offer. The man behind the desk lead Caiz towards the back where the training area is currently located and as for the test it was simple, hit the dummy 3 times as strong as you can and the test is over, simple right!
The bystanders watching the interaction between the two spoke between themselves and everyone are now sure that the test was the strength and precision exam for Rank F adventurers, some are doubtful as they can be since the kid whose now taking the exam looks very frail and fragile however they all became silent as they saw the kid drew his short sword from its scabbard behind his back because the way he drew it doesn't matched his arm and body muscles, but his posture was very precise with no wasted movement.
The man who lead Caiz towards the training room was exhilarated after catching the sight of the young lad's posture without wasted movement he drew his sword from the scabbard and took a stance towards the dummy, as soon as Caiz heard the man's voice saying "now!" he proceeded to strike the dummy down with all his might and did slash it down in 3 different angles with very fast movement. After he stroked down the target, he took a deep breath and placed his short sword back to its scabbard and asked the man how it was. The man could not believe the damage shown of top of the dummy as none of any Rank F adventurers could do that amount, some Rank E could but not all 3 are all same amount like the kid did.
As Caiz took his stance and stroke down the dummy with full of concentration, he made 3 whole critical damage in all 3 slashes that made the whole room into an uproar. On top of the dummy 3 red coloured 500 was seen appeared after the 3 slash happen.
The man introduced himself as Ranald the only martial arts instructor of the guild and gave a congratulatory hand shake toward Caiz, he also gave him a thorough explanation how the guild works and also he received a bronze badge signifying his membership in the guild.
Caiz was so excited not because he was able to join but the reward he received right after

In summary the adventurers are divided by ranks starting from the bottom G-rank all the way to SS-rank, the higher my rank goes the more difficult of a quest I could take. As for identification we are given badges in a shape of a shield and made out of the metal that corresponds to our own rank.
