Cecilia's POV
His last words struck me unexpectedly and I lost words immediately.
I didn't know what to say or how to react but the truth was clear that he won me, over and over again.
They were his pups and truth be told, it was difficult to hide them away from him as they would always show their features.
Watching them sniffle around him gave me a bit of delight, I hadn't seen them so relieved with anyone and also excited but I constantly reminded myself that he was dangerous.
I was yet unclear if he wasn't going to be a dangerous father to them. Trusting him again might take another decade.
"Nuggets, Momma is calling you." No matter how anxiously and lovingly I called my babies, they wouldn't come to me until I sounded lifeless.
They were somewhat intoxicated by their father that every word bumping in their ears were sirens.
