Flashing back at my life, it was obvious that I was an inborn lone wolf.
Getting affection from people was something I shouldn't and didn't expect.
Whenever I have an expectation on someone or something, I end up getting slapped in the face. I ended up disappointed because they tend to fail me.
This time, it was better to have less expectations and be excited with what nature sends to you.
"Did you receive the memo?" While drying off the roots and pounded leaves on the wide basket, I heard some servants passing by while discussing.
"Which memo is that?" They were returning from the stream as they had buckets of water and clothes with them.
"Miss. Laura is pregnant with the Alpha's heir and will be crowned the Luna of our pack. They are set to get married this weekend." One of the servants spilled to her colleagues.
