Cecilia's POV
As I attempted to leave my chamber, someone grabbed me by the arm. I shivered because I wasn't expecting to find anyone in the isolated space.
"My lady, where are you going?" She whispered, and then I exhaled in relief.
It was Anna.
"I…" I paused.
I couldn't tell her that I was going to meet with the mysterious lady behind those letters. She would be worried neither do I want to lie to her.
"I… I will be right back, just stay here." I instructed her.
"Stay here? My lady, it's midnight. I can't allow you to leave the courtyard." She shook her head. "What if something happens to you? I will go with you." She said insistently.
"I have my wolf with me, don't forget. I have to go somewhere." I paused. "Alone," I added with a cold voice and she sighed.
